My summer vacation on Palma de Mallorca was unforgettable! 🌞🏝️ The island offers a perfect blend of vibrant city life and stunning natural beauty. Palma, the island’s capital, is a bustling city with charming streets, lively markets, and beautiful architecture. The Palma Cathedral, with its Gothic grandeur and stunning views of the sea, is a must-see.
The beaches on Palma de Mallorca are fantastic. Cala Major and Playa de Palma are great spots for soaking up the sun and enjoying the Mediterranean waters. If you’re into hiking, the Serra de Tramuntana mountains provide spectacular trails and breathtaking views.
Nearby, the charming village of Valldemossa is worth a visit for its picturesque streets and historical sites, including the famous charterhouse where Chopin once stayed. For a touch of local history, explore the Bellver Castle, which offers amazing panoramic views of the island. Palma de Mallorca is a fantastic destination for relaxation, exploration, and soaking in the island's rich culture and scenery.

Mediteranean Cruise 🗺️
#cruisetrip
I recently returned from an unforgettable Mediterranean cruise, and I’m still buzzing from the experience! 🛳️ The journey took me to three stunning destinations: Malta, Cyprus, and Mallorca, each offering its own unique charm and beauty.
First stop was Malta, and let me tell you, Valletta is like stepping into a postcard. The architecture is incredible, and St. John’s Co-Cathedral is a must-see. We spent the day wandering the narrow streets, soaking in the history. The entrance fee for the cathedral was around €15, but it’s worth every cent for the intricate interiors alone. Plus, the harbor views are just breathtaking. 🌅
Next up was Cyprus, where we docked in Limassol. From there, we took a short trip to the ancient city of Kourion. The ruins, especially the amphitheater overlooking the sea, were absolutely stunning. Cyprus is a blend of ancient history and beautiful beaches, and the local food was a highlight—don’t miss out on trying some traditional meze! 🍽️ We spent the afternoon lounging at Lady’s Mile Beach, a perfect spot for relaxation.
Our final stop was Mallorca, where Palma stole my heart. The island is vibrant and full of life, with something for everyone. We visited the iconic Palma Cathedral, which is just as impressive as it looks in photos. Entrance was about €8. The winding streets of the old town are perfect for exploring, and the beaches, like Playa de Palma, are perfect for a lazy day by the sea. 🏖️
This cruise was everything I hoped for—stunning locations, rich history, and plenty of sunshine. Whether you’re into sightseeing, relaxing on the beach, or enjoying local cuisine, this Mediterranean route has it all. I’m already dreaming of my next adventure! ☀️

A Pearl in Spain!

🗓️Itinerary Scheduling:
Mallorca, often referred to as the crown jewel of Spain’s Balearic Islands, is a destination that dazzles with its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. My visit to this stunning island began with its renowned beaches, where the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean meet pristine, sandy shores. From the lively Playa de Palma to the secluded coves of Cala Mondragó, each beach offered its own slice of paradise. The crystal-clear waters were perfect for swimming and snorkeling, revealing vibrant marine life just beneath the surface. The sun-soaked days on Mallorca’s beaches were truly the epitome of relaxation and serenity.
🗓️Itinerary Scheduling:
Beyond the beaches, Mallorca’s historic old town, Palma, beckoned with its narrow, winding streets and centuries-old architecture. Walking through the labyrinthine alleys, I discovered hidden plazas, charming cafes, and artisan shops that echoed the island’s rich history and vibrant culture. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of the past and present, with modern boutiques housed in ancient stone buildings. At the heart of the old town stood the magnificent La Seu Cathedral, an architectural marvel that dominates the skyline with its towering Gothic spires. Inside, the play of light through the intricate stained-glass windows was mesmerizing, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the stone walls.
🗓️Itinerary Scheduling:
A visit to Mallorca would not be complete without exploring its historic churches and chapels, scattered across the island like pearls. Each one told a story of Mallorca’s spiritual heritage, from the small, secluded hilltop chapels to the grandiose churches in Palma. The tranquility of these sacred spaces offered a peaceful contrast to the vibrant energy of the beaches and town centers, providing a deeper connection to the island’s history and culture.

The Biggest Beach on Mallorca, Spain

A visit to Palma's picturesque Old Town is always highly recommended.
Known in Spanish as 'El Casco Antiguo', it's where the majority of must-see tourist attractions are located, such as the majestic 'La Seu' Cathedral, the Royal Palace of Almudaina and Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum.
If you've time to spare, put your map to one side, as there's a real pleasure to be had in simply wandering the medieval streets and seeing where they lead you.
