Thong Pha Phum National Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Sun is rising here
This little-known park stretches across a jagged mountain range near Myanmar's border. Mornings at the park, which bills itself as the "country of fog and freezing rainforest," have a gloomy beauty, especially when cold-season mist covers the valleys. The park is inaccessible for the most part, although visitors can enjoy waterfalls and hiking near the end of one of Thailand's most remote and meandering roads.
Elephants, tigers, bears, serow (Asian mountain goats), marbled cats, and palm civets are among the park's species, though most are shy. However, barking deer and kalij pheasant frequently walk around the visitor center and accommodation area (8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.).

Waterfall hunting
Thong Pha Phum National Park is a must visit place when your in Pilok, Thailand. The park has an area of 1,236 square kilometers. There are various waterfalls and caverns throughout the park. Chok Kradin Falls which is my favorite and the photos you were looking at, it cascades 30 meters over a cliff.
Khao Yai, which has three tiers, is another huge waterfall. Dip Yai, Bi Teng, and Huai Meuang are some of the other park waterfalls. Buddha images can be seen in the cave of Khao Noi. The viewpoint at Khao Khat provides a panoramic view of the park. A must never be missed place in Pilok.

Khao Chang Phueak Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Every pain is worth it keep going
Khao Chang Phueak, Thailand's third tallest mountain peak, is a moderately difficult summit with a few more difficult sections. The mountain's moniker, which loosely translates as sharp mountain ridge, comes from the hike's final, more difficult section. This portion takes you along the mountain ridge's spine, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking vistas and eventually the summit.
The number of hikers who can climb in a single day is limited (60 climbers). As a result, before attempting the climb, make contact and book your spot. Due to a lack of camping space and tight hiking pathways, this is the case. From right behind Etong Village, you begin your climb up the mountain. The average hiker will spend about 4 to 5 hours on the nearly 8-kilometer journey, after which you will arrive at your destination.
The almost 8-kilometer journey takes about 4 to 5 hours for the average hiker, after which you will arrive at the camping location. For this Thai bucket list walk, the reward of spectacular landscapes is well worth the effort.
