Edeeca Beach Resort, Brgy. San Antonio
The resort is well-maintained. The staffs are well-mannered, and very welcoming. It took us about an hour to reach the place via jeep from Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra.
The resort has its own cafe. We also heard that they offer foods although we never tried ordering one because we have bought and prepared our own snacks. There is a videoke machine which costs PHP 5.00 (USD 0.095) per song.
However, if you prefer a chill ambiance, that's fine. You can rent cottages ranging from PHP 300.00 (USD 5.73) to about a thousand (or USD 20). Renting a cottage covers 10 persons, but adding people also costs pennies (about PHP 10 or USD 0.19 per one). I would also like to mention that the resort would charge you if you bring your own drinks. Don't worry it is cheap. If you don't have one, they have plenty of drinks to offer.
As for the beach, the sand is neither white nor black. It is more like a mix of everything. lol. It looks brownish, but the moment you step in the water, you see a mix of black and white.
The sea is the best part of it! Depending on the season (we came during the beginning of summer season), the water is turquoise and crystal clear. There are sea weeds though but it isn't an issue (because, beach. Duh?), but nitpickers beware.
No jelly fish in sight all throughout the stay (a good thing), but we have had sunburns on our back. We just love the water. Not to mention, we were swimming more than 320 meters away from the shoreline but the water was still on chest level (even after high tide). This place is good for night swimming (they just need some lights on the shore).
We will be back soon for a night dip. hehe #beachlife
