Guan Yu Shrine, Ban Na Bon This is an old shrine that is over a hundred years old. Originally, a statue of the god Guan Yu was brought from China to worship and build a small house here. When there were more devotees, a shrine was built. During that time, there was a miracle: around the table to worship the god Guan Yu, termite mounds appeared in 4 directions and in the middle, another 1, totaling 5 statues without termites eating the wood of the shrine at all. This place campaigns not to light incense inside the shrine. There will be only two places outside. The god Guan Yu here is considered very sacred. must to see elephants in Phuket! there in hotels and near beaches you can find lot of tours to book. for me, I booked half day city tour and elephant riding only for 1800bath. the tour guide and driver took me from the hotel at 7:30 am, there was only 3 tourists, almost like a private tour🙈 first stop was Phuket city sightseeing, from top of mountain; second was big Buddha, there you can see lot of monkeys too; then we visited Chalong temple; big bee farm; Phuket old town; and final destination was elephant park, where you can ride elephant for 30 minutes. 13:0pm we were back to the hotel. tour guide very nice and helpful and what's more important solo travel is safe! #solotravel #staycation #gooutside #beachlife #

Taking a boat trip in Phuket's clear waters is a must. If you're visiting Phuket, you have to experience a long-tail boat ride. The atmosphere is incredible, and the photos turn out amazing. Renting a boat for a 30-minute photo session costs 1500 baht. The boat driver will take you to the clearest waters for the best shots. We booked a yacht tour initially and then rented a long-tail boat upon reaching our destination. The trip started at 7 AM from the pier and we returned at 7 PM. It's totally worth it. Highly recommended!
