en route to Philip island , my tour stopped at cowes which is a town close to Philip island to visit the cute little penguins. the town is very beautiful in fact and it’s filled with colorful shop houses that sell many variety of things such as food , restaurant bars and necessities as well as ice cream gelato. very interesting place to be at. and you can stop over here for a short break or meal such as dinner before going to visit the Philip island penguins. there is also a grocery stop so it’s very easy and convenient for the people here. the jetty is also very pretty but do note that it’s quite windy. so buckle up!

Chocolate Factory
Good place to visit for family and kids. The factory is small. Entry to the cafe is free and for the tour it's $18 per person. What you get is a token with a QR code (10 credit points) and a chocolate bar. You can use the token to play games that are towards the end of the tour and earn wooden balls.

Phillip Island, also known as Melbourne's Penguin Island, is located 128 kilometers southeast of Melbourne and is one of Australia's most famous tourist destinations.
Penguin Parade
Phillip Island is the world's largest wild penguin sanctuary, home to over 30,000 penguins. Every evening, the penguins swim back to shore from the sea, waddling across the beach to their nests. This is the island's most famous attraction. Visitors can watch the penguins return to their nests from viewing platforms, but they should avoid using flash photography to prevent disturbing the penguins.
Churchill Island
A large seaside farm. It is recommended to visit after 1 PM as many performances take place in the afternoon. The scenery is beautiful.
Maru Koala & Animal Park
An open zoo where you can interact with animals! The zoo has a variety of animals, including kangaroos🦘, koalas🐨, and peacocks🦚.
Chocolate Factory
The island has a chocolate factory where visitors can tour the chocolate-making process, taste delicious chocolates, and buy some specialty chocolates as souvenirs. It's a great activity for families!

Melbourne Travel Sharing~
Just returned from Melbourne, and I can't wait to share my travel experiences with you all.
Let's start with the advantages of Melbourne~ First of all, it has an incredibly diverse range of attractions. The Great Ocean Road is simply a paradise on earth! Standing on the edge of the cliff, watching the waves constantly crashing against the rocks, the grandeur of it all is indescribable. And the Twelve Apostles, standing quietly in the ocean, seem to be telling ancient stories. The penguin parade on Phillip Island is just too cute! Watching those little penguins waddle back from the shore, my heart was melting.
There are also many places in Melbourne's city center that fascinate me. Flinders Street Station, with its ancient architectural style, makes me want to take a few photos every time I pass by. St. Paul's Cathedral is even more majestic and solemn; the moment I walked in, I felt my soul being purified. And the State Library of Victoria, reading and studying there is simply a pleasure, the rich academic atmosphere is intoxicating.
Melbourne's cultural and artistic atmosphere is really amazing! Every piece of street graffiti is so creative, I feel like I'm walking in a giant art gallery. Various museums and art galleries also feasted my eyes, where I saw many exquisite artworks and felt the diverse charm of culture.
I also particularly like the pace of life here. Unlike big cities that are so busy and tense, people can leisurely drink coffee in cafes or sunbathe and read on the lawns of parks. I followed the local rhythm, slowed down, and enjoyed this tranquility and comfort. And the food is amazing! Whether it's Western cuisine or Asian food, you can find something very authentic. I tasted all kinds of snacks at the Queen Victoria Market, it was truly a feast.
However, there are some things about Melbourne that I find less than perfect. The weather is incredibly changeable! One day I went out when it was sunny, and then it started raining, making me scramble to find rain gear. So, when going to Melbourne, you must always check the weather forecast and bring several different outfits. Also, in terms of transportation, it can get a bit congested during peak hours, and if you're driving, you have to get used to left-hand driving, which can be a bit tricky at first. Additionally, during the peak tourist season, there are so many people, especially at popular attractions like the Great Ocean Road, so you must book tickets and accommodation in advance, or it could be quite troublesome.
But overall, Melbourne is truly an amazing tourist city! This trip has left me with so many wonderful memories. If you are also planning a trip, consider Melbourne, I believe you will fall in love with it too!

I embarked on a chilly, yet invigorating hike from Cape Woolamai to the Woolamai Beacon, and it stole my heart! The rugged scenery was simply stunning – think windswept coastlines, towering cliffs, and secluded beaches.

Philip Island, The Nobbies
The last day of our trip to Melbourne features the most beautiful viewpoint on Phillip Island, located southeast of Melbourne. Here, we can encounter some of Australia's cutest native animals, including koalas, the world's smallest penguins, and even kangaroos. Besides the wildlife, the natural scenery here is incredibly stunning.
The Nobbies is located at the far left end of the island. This area features a long boardwalk that offers views of small islands. Behind one of these islands is another island that is home to a colony of seals. Although we can't see that island from here, there are boat tours available to visit it. Unfortunately, due to time and budget constraints, we couldn't go.
P.S. The last picture features wallabies, which live in the wild here and often come out to greet visitors before they encounter real kangaroos.

Shipwreck SS Speke
#australiatrip A fairly easy walk from Kitty Bay carpark. You might need to go on the sometimes steep walking trail if it's high tide or rock hop if you are feeling adventurous. Around a few small headlands you come to the SS Speke. Rock hopping takes 2-3 hours with snack and photo stops. A beautiful walk. It is a very nice trail walking toward the shipwreck. Please expect a bit steep when climbing down to the shipwreck beach area.
The shipwreck looks amazing, will visit again for lower tide or sunset experience.

Phillip island trip
The Phillip Island Penguin Parade is a popular attraction in Australia, offering visitors the opportunity to observe the world's smallest penguins, the fairy penguins, as they return to their burrows each evening. The parade takes place around sunset and can be accessed only through tours. The numbers of penguins vary throughout the year, with higher numbers in summer and later arrival times, which may be an issue for visitors with young children. There are different seating options available, ranging from general seating to more expensive options like Penguins Plus and Underground Viewing platform. General seating is the least expensive option and provides a good view, while the more expensive options offer a more private and secluded experience. It is also possible to see penguins for free on the island, but the experience is not as organized or close-up as the Penguin Parade. #Phillipisland #Penguins #Victoria

Penguin Parade On Philip island!!
#melbournetrip
#melbournetrip
Location: Philips island
Phillips island is a whole weeks worth of activity on its own! With a karting prix circuit, wildlife conversation parks, nobbies centre and the most important attraction, the penguin parade!!
Personally i was only able to visit the nobbies centre and penguin parade as well as the beautiful coastlines all around the island.
Sadly i was unable to take pictures of the penguin parade as no photography was allowed. The penguin parade is the nightly migration of penguins returning from sea into their homes and it is one of the cutest things you can ever witness!!
some pro tips i have for first timers!
Pro tip: Bring a set of binoculars if you can
Pro tip: Buy the parade tickets early and arrive early to get better seating as its first come first serve

Phillip Island 🏝 Great for both day & night
Driving the whole way to Phillip Island during my Melbourne Trip. I would say I've enjoyed my time there just to chill and stay away from the hectic city life. It's a pity that I couldn't really find any good restaurants there 😕 The penguin tour is great with an extremely friendly staff leading us to the way, enjoying the sunset and could luckily see those cute penguins. The chocolate factory is vintage, and their hot chocolate is noiceeee.
