Vitamin Sea intake at Pantai Lagenda, Pekan
#travelanywhere
Trips to the beach can have potentially huge mental health benefits. The rhythmic sound of the waves, help your brain to relax.
Allow your lungs to be filled with salty air and see how good it feels? The sea air contains ions, which calms your senses and helps make us more cheerful. Fact! The salt in the air which contains these negative ions, are also beneficial for your respiratory system.
We headed over to the gorgeous Pantai Lagenda in the little royal town of Pekan in Pahang.. this beach even has a natural sky mirror effect…

Cafe hunting at mysterious Lufa Coffee
Located in Sungai Isap, Kuantan, Pahang, Lufa Coffee has their own identity and it's personality- mysterious, dark, and enchanting.
Manage to come by here for once, and it reminds me of my pleasant stay.
The sip of the coffee tasted so good, with extra hazelnut Monin syrup for my hazelnut latte is perfectly exquisite ♡
The staff were friendly, plenty of parkings provided and they provided ranges of coffee, non-coffee and pasteries menu.

Entire resort to ourselves
It's my first time to Redang and it's a wonderful experience. The sandy beaches & scenic views were amazing.
We went during Ramadan so there was practically no one there, just us another couple & a German tourist named Karen. It was Karen's 3rd time there. It was a peaceful & relaxing holiday. Staff was friendly & helpful.
Would go again to see the sunrise, beautiful beaches & amazing sea life during snorkeling trips. Karen went out for diving sessions and saw sharks! Thanks, Redang Mutiara, for an unforgettable holiday!
Short trip to Pekan Pahang. Amazing food & relaxing surrounding. Our journey from Kuala Lumpur tooks almost 3.5 hours.
This small town offers variety of food and the taste was superb. A must try desert here is Puding Raja.
Another place must visit in Pekan is Cafe Dalam Keretapi. The food is delicious and the surrounding is insta-worthy photo.

"Beigan: A Place Where History and Culture Meet."
Beigan is a place full of historical and cultural charm, like a hidden pearl in the river of time.
From a historical perspective, Beigan has a deep heritage. The ancient streets and alleys carry the footprints of generations, as if you can see the scenes of people working hard and trading here in the past. The buildings here have a unique style, and some traditional dwellings are living fossils of history. The mottled walls and simple doors and windows witness the vicissitudes of time. They may be the residences of a family passed down from generation to generation, and every corner hides the bits and pieces of the lives of the ancestors, telling the prosperity and tranquility of the past.
In terms of culture, Beigan is full of charm. Folk culture is deeply rooted here, and various celebrations are lively during traditional festivals. Performances such as dragon and lion dances show people's yearning for a better life. These folk activities are not only entertainment but also a cultural heritage, passing on the spirit of unity and joy from generation to generation. There are also unique handicrafts in the local area, whether it is exquisite embroidery or exquisite bamboo weaving, which reflects the wisdom and creativity of the working people. The patterns on these handicrafts often have auspicious meanings, reflecting the local cultural beliefs and aesthetic concepts.
Beigan's food culture is also an important manifestation of its history and culture. Behind the local specialties are the taste preferences and cooking traditions formed over the years. Each dish is made with local ingredients and unique cooking methods, and you can taste the local customs and culture from these delicacies. In addition, Beigan may also have some ancient legends and stories passed down orally among the people. These legends add a mysterious color to this land, further enriching the historical and cultural connotation of Beigan, making tourists intoxicated and lingering.
In Pekan, don't miss the Ancasa Royale Pekan Pahang for a comfortable stay.
When looking for a special weekend getaway, I chose the Ancasa Royale Pekan Pahang in the beautiful state of Pahang. The hotel is only 1.8 km from downtown Kuantan and about 20 km from Kuantan Airport, making it very convenient to get to. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was deeply impressed by the luxurious facilities and first-class service.
Hotel Environment:
Walking into the hotel, the first impression is its magnificent lobby and exquisite decoration. When checking in, the warm reception and multilingual service of the front desk staff made me feel very welcome. In the room, I found many thoughtful details, such as free Wi-Fi, soft and comfortable bathrobes, and high-quality toiletries. Although I found some stains on the bathrobe, which was a bit of a pity, the overall cleanliness and maintenance were quite good.
Accommodation Experience:
I booked a Deluxe King Room, which was spacious and bright, with a beautiful view of the hotel garden outside the window. The room was very modern, with a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and mini bar. Although smoking is prohibited in the room, which is a bit inconvenient, it also ensures fresh indoor air and the comfort of other guests.
Dining and Facilities:
The hotel's restaurant offers a variety of international and local cuisine, all of which are excellent. Especially the breakfast, which is rich in variety, whether it is cold dishes, hot food, or desserts, is dazzling and meets the needs of different tastes. In addition, the hotel also has an outdoor swimming pool and fitness center, providing guests with a good place for leisure and exercise.
Overall Rating:
The experience of staying at the Ancasa Royale Pekan Pahang was very pleasant. Although there were some minor flaws, such as the hygiene of the bathrobe and the smoking ban in the room, overall, the quality service, comfortable accommodation environment, and convenient location made my vacation enjoyable. For travelers seeking a high-quality accommodation experience, this is undoubtedly a good choice. I hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the future and look forward to the hotel being more perfect in detail and providing a more perfect accommodation experience.

3 Days and 2 Nights: The Ultimate Guide to Exploring Pontian, Malaysia!
👉Transportation and Preparation:
I first flew from [Your Country/City] to Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia, and then rented a car to start my self-driving tour in Pontian. Before departure, make sure you have prepared the necessary documents such as an international driving permit, passport, mobile navigation software, and a car charger to ensure smooth communication and navigation during the trip. Remember to learn about Malaysian driving rules and traffic signs in advance, as it is right-hand drive, which is different from [Your Country/City]. In addition, Malaysia is hot, so sunscreen and plenty of drinking water are essential.
👉Itinerary:
Depart from Kuala Lumpur and drive along the highway towards Pontian, Johor. Along the way, you can admire Malaysia's unique tropical scenery, with vast palm forests and brightly colored houses interwoven into a beautiful picture.
After arriving in Pontian, the first stop is the Pineapple Museum (Muzium Nanas). It is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily and was officially opened by Johor Chief Minister Abdul Ghani Othman on May 21, 2002. The museum showcases the collections, history, and information of the pineapple industry, as well as pineapple processing products and tools, allowing you to delve into Pontian's glorious history as Malaysia's largest pineapple plantation base.
Afterwards, head to Sinareco Resort, a resort located in the Pontian oil palm plantation. Here you can enjoy a leisurely vacation, stroll among the oil palm trees, and feel the tranquility and beauty of nature. The resort also has various leisure facilities such as swimming pools and restaurants to meet your various needs.
👉Local Food Recommendations:
- Yong Ren Dental's Traditional Dessert: This is a time-honored classic dessert shop among Pontian people, with a bowl starting from just RM2.80, which is very affordable. There is a wide variety of desserts here, including 6-flavor clear soup, black glutinous rice, and mung bean paste. You can also add prawn crackers, fish balls, and other small ingredients. The combination of sweet and savory flavors creates a unique taste.
- Restoran Mar Xing's Hokkien Fried Noodles: Located behind the Pontian KFC in the New Yong Xing Coffee Shop, the owner weighs the noodles for each serving of fried noodles to ensure that diners enjoy the same portion. The Hokkien fried noodles are fragrant, smooth, and chewy. They are simmered in broth and then stir-fried with sauce, resulting in a perfectly balanced flavor.
In short, Pontian is a charming place, whether it's history, culture, or food, it's worth exploring and experiencing for yourself😉. The recommended travel time is 2–3 days, so you can fully appreciate Pontian's unique style.

The historic museum sultan abu bakar
To get a good grasp on the royal history of Pahang, one must start with a visit to the State Museum. Located at Jalan Sultan Ahmad and facing the mighty Pahang River, the museum has a well-documented history of the state and its royal house.
It was constructed in the late 1920s by the British Government. During its 124 years of existance, the building was used in various ways, as the official residence of a British Resident during colonial Malaya, an army barracks by the invading Japanese army during WW2, and also as the official palace of Sultan Abu Bakar. It also houses a large collection of ancient Chinese glass-wares and ceramics previously used by former sultans of Pahang.
It was formally opened by the Sultan of Pahang, Sultan Ahmad Shah on Oct 21, 1976 and it was named after his father.
The museum was launched with a new look after a 4 years of refurbishment. It is now equipped with high-definition television screens, WiFi connections, also with wall-mounted and table touchscreens. The project was a part of the overall master plan by the East Coast Economic Region Development Corporation to transform the historical town into a major tourist hub #pahang
