For those who wake up early and live not far from Pathum Thani city, and love to eat congee, I highly recommend this place that is currently trending: Grandma Tood's Congee. It's a small cart-style congee shop located near Pathum Market. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The congee is delicious and worth every penny, with plenty of toppings. The crispy pork dipped in sweet soy sauce is very tasty, and the innards are clean and odorless. There's a large jar of crispy white noodles on the table for customers to help themselves. Most importantly, the vendor is very polite. Even though the queue can be long, it still feels pleasant.

There’s a playground for kids as well and also the area around for walking and chill out. They say that anyone whose luck is down or who wants to make merit should come to worship Luang Pho Somprathan and visit the ancient church that is over 400 years old. Been staying in and around Pathum Thani for a while now and it is not the best touristy place you will ever come across, but it is away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok's famous night life. This suits me just fine at this point of my life, as I am not trying to spend all my money at once. I would love to sustain this kind of life for many years to come! There are plenty of cheap eating out options here, especially street food, which is just up my alley. Delicious local options at very inexpensive prices.
