Back from Liupanshui, and my concept of spending has been shattered.
🌄Life is not about rushing to your destination, but about enjoying the journey. As the spring breeze blows across the land, everything is thriving. This April, let's step into Liupanshui, Guizhou, and encounter the romance of spring!
🌤️[Weather]: The weather in Liupanshui in April is quite comfortable, with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C. However, the weather is changeable, sometimes sunny and sometimes drizzling, so remember to bring rain gear.
👗[Clothing]: For tops, you can prepare light sweaters, long-sleeved T-shirts, and thin jackets. Pair them with casual pants or jeans. Choose sneakers or light hiking shoes. Also, bring scarves, hats, and other accessories for sun protection and warmth in case of temperature drops.
🎈[Best time to visit]: Liupanshui is suitable for travel all year round, but April is a great choice as you can admire the azaleas all over the mountains.

- Day 1: Shuicheng Ancient Town - Meihua Mountain Scenic Area
- Morning: After arriving in Liupanshui, head to Shuicheng Ancient Town, a place full of historical charm. Stroll along the ancient streets, feel the traces of time, and taste various local snacks, such as Shuicheng Luoguo and mutton rice noodles.
- Afternoon: Visit Meihua Mountain Scenic Area, which is located at a high altitude, offering a stunning view of the peaks and forests. Take the world's longest mountain cable car, stretching 9.91 km, and enjoy the panoramic view of the peaks, sea of clouds, and forests. Stay overnight at the Meihua Mountain Resort Cabin and experience the tranquility of the mountains.
- Day 2: Wumeng Grassland
- Morning: Head to Wumeng Grassland, the largest and highest natural grassland in Southwest China. Upon arrival, visit "Xiaohaizi" to admire the sea of flowers, and then go to "Tianchi," a green lake that looks like a gem inlaid in the grassland.
- Afternoon: Have fun on the grassland, try horse riding and grass sliding, and visit "Guanfotai." If you're lucky, you might see the magical grassland Buddha's light. Stay overnight at the Guaimeng Tent Camp and fall asleep under the starry sky.
- Day 3: Yushe National Forest Park - Return Trip
- Morning: Visit Yushe National Forest Park, known as the "Emerald of Liangdu" and a "natural oxygen bar." Stroll along the forest trails, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the tranquility of nature. If you like excitement, you can also experience the fun of skiing at the lowest latitude ski resort in China (open in winter).
- Afternoon: End your pleasant journey and prepare for your return trip.
🏞️[Nearby Attractions]
- Beipanjiang Bridge: The world's highest bridge. Standing on the bridge, with the deep canyon beneath your feet, is a spectacular experience.
- Haiping Yi Nationality Town: Experience the mysterious Yi culture, walk the pilgrimage road, visit the Jiuchong Palace Museum, see the October solar calendar, eat the Yi "Eight Great Bowls," dance the Haiping joyous dance, and stay at the Tusi Manor.
- Minghu National Wetland Park: A complex wetland ecosystem composed of rivers, ponds, and forests. There is a 1,113-meter-long ribbon-shaped steel bridge. The scenery is beautiful and suitable for leisurely walks.

- Some scenic areas in Liupanshui are at high altitudes. Take precautions against altitude sickness and avoid strenuous exercise.
- There is a lot of rain in April, so remember to bring rain gear. The roads may be slippery, so be careful when driving or hiking.
- Do not approach livestock on the Wumeng Grassland to avoid being attacked.
