Friends and I planned a half-day trip to Pacifica. The first thing we recommended was to go to the Hong Kong Hotpot Restaurant to fill our stomachs. This is an all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant that is often full. The soup pot is very large, which can accommodate many of your favorite ingredients. It also provides stir-fried dishes and unlimited drinks. You can also book a VIP room with karaoke and order food in the evening. There is also alcohol, which you can drink as much as you want! After enjoying delicious food, we went hiking and walking on the beach at the nearby Esplanade Ave and Acifica trails. A man and wife played the part of the original owners in costume and told the history beautifully with the help of other staff members who were all very kind, enthusiastic and passionate about the history of the castle and the families that owned it as well as the city of Pacifica itself. My wife and I recommend it highly.

#dayatthebeach A city favorite, Rockaway Beach is accessible via subway, making it an ideal getaway for New Yorkers. This beach has a five-mile boardwalk, surf-friendly waves, volleyball courts, and nearby eateries. Its skate park, playgrounds, and picnic areas add to the beach’s lively atmosphere, offering a great urban beach day experience.

One of my favorite beaches in the Bay Area. Great hiking trails. Beautiful scenery. Parking is a little difficult here, best to get there before 10am. Stroll along the beach and enjoy the calming sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Highway 92, which most tourists from the Peninsula area use, can get crowded and bad at times, but early morning is always the best option to hit the road.
