One of the best spring wanders I have ever seen in my life. Just one week in May the mountains on Altay are becoming covered with the purple bushes and the scenery is unforgettable. Especially it is beautiful on the way to the scenic road named Chuiskiy trakt. The blooming is short but really worth seeing it, I wish I go one more time again. There are even tours organised to watch this beauty. #springwander

#celebrateit Unique natural monuments on Altay, petroglyphs, can be found in several places. One of this places is Kalbak-Tash, which for al one time was hidden from people because of its location far up from the main road. The complex has around 5 thousand of pictures depicting hinting scenes, different animals etc and it’s so hard to imagine how ancient they are. Recommended to take a local guide with you to listen to the stories and to see some pictures that are difficult to find by yourself.
