RAMEN FeeL: A Ramen Restaurant Recommended by Ramen Masters
RAMEN FeeL in Ome City 🇯🇵
⭐ Chef Daisuke Watanabe, a disciple of Iida Shoten, runs this restaurant with a Tabelog rating of 3.96. We visited the restaurant with two people and ordered three dishes due to our greed.
✅ Regular Shoyu Ramen - 1300 yen: The broth is made from a combination of pork and chicken bones and meat, with soy sauce. The noodles are small, homemade, and break easily when bitten. Initially, I thought they would be mushy, but they were perfectly cooked, making them easy to eat. The portion of noodles was larger than usual, even though we ordered the regular size. The broth was aromatic and flavorful, embodying the essence of soy sauce. The topping was thick, fatty Char siu pork, cut into large, tender pieces.
✅ Special Shio Ramen - 1900 yen: This dish had extra toppings and was highly praised by my partner, who loves Shio ramen. The clear, clean broth had a subtle yuzu aroma. The noodles were the same as those in the Shoyu ramen, but the toppings were different, featuring thinly sliced Char siu pork, which was saltier than the pork in the Shoyu ramen. The dish also included two pork dumplings and one shrimp dumpling, perfectly balancing the dough and filling. This dish alone made our Japan trip in 2024 worthwhile.
✅ Special Tsukemen with Two Broths - 2200 yen: This dish included an additional wari broth and wheat tea for 170 yen, totaling 2370 yen. Unlike the regular Tsukemen (1850 yen), which comes with a choice of one broth (either Shoyu or Shio), this dish featured three types of noodles: thin wide noodles, yellow noodles thicker than those in the Shoyu and Shio ramen, and wheat noodles. As a noodle enthusiast, I particularly enjoyed the thick yellow noodles. The wheat noodles were unique, with a texture reminiscent of whole wheat bread. The Shio broth was a bit salty for my taste, so I preferred dipping the noodles in the Shoyu broth. The assistant chef suggested various ways to enjoy the noodles, such as eating them plain, with salt, with lemon, or alternating between the broths. The portion was generous, enough for two people, and I didn't feel hungry again until 9 PM.
Total: 5570 yen or 1309 baht (exchange rate as of June 3, 2024)
🏅 After finishing our meal, we decided that next time, I would order the Shoyu ramen, and my partner would order the Shio ramen.

How to Get There: We booked a car for Sunday evening and drove to the restaurant on Saturday, taking about 1.5 hours from Tokyo each way. We recommend booking the earliest available slot and returning before evening to avoid Tokyo's heavy traffic. The restaurant has three parking spaces in front and additional parking nearby.
