Kassandra Boutique Hotel 🏙️

My stay at Kassandra Boutique Hotel in Ölüdeniz, Turkey, was simply amazing! This adults-only boutique hotel is located just a short walk from the famous Blue Lagoon, making it the perfect spot for a beach getaway. Rooms start at around €100 per night, and they are beautifully designed with modern, boho-chic decor. The atmosphere is so peaceful, making it ideal for a relaxing holiday.
The staff was super welcoming, and I loved spending time by the hotel’s pool, surrounded by greenery. The best part was being so close to Ölüdeniz Beach, where I tried paragliding over the stunning turquoise waters. Nearby, you can also visit Butterfly Valley, take a boat tour to explore hidden coves, or hike along the scenic Lycian Way. This hotel is perfect for those wanting a stylish yet intimate place to stay in Ölüdeniz. 🌞🏖️🌿

Paragliding 🪂
Babadag (Father Mountain🗻) towering above Oludeniz 🏖️on the Southwest coast of Turkey 🇹🇷 is a geological marvel that just happens to make for incredible thermals and ideal conditions for paragliding 🪂 flight. Oludeniz is reputedly the best site in Europe, if not the world, to fly pargliders cross-country in both solo and tandem modes.
“First day in Fethiye and what an adventure! 🚤✨ Joined an amazing boat trip with Seaside Tours, starting at 9 AM, visiting 6 beautiful islands 🏝️, swimming in crystal-clear waters 💦, and enjoying a delicious meal on board. All for just 1200 TL! Such an unforgettable experience—if you’re in Fethiye, this is a must! 💙🌊 ” #เที่ยวทะเล #fethiye #boattrip 💕💕🌊🌤️☀️☀️

Romantic Turkey|Being carried into the sky in Fethiye, it's surprisingly enjoyable!🪂
🤔If I were to recommend an extreme sport to those who love freedom and romance, I would have to shout: 'Go paragliding🪂, go up into the sky, feel the wind, scream at the top of your lungs, and overlook all the tiny things!'👏🏻🌟
🤩Yes, my first paragliding experience was during this trip to Fethiye, Turkey. This sport seems to have a bit of heart-pounding excitement and romance. Once you try it, you'll fall in love with it deeply!💙
🌟About Paragliding in Fethiye
📰There are three major paragliding paradises in the world: Pokhara in Nepal, Fethiye in Turkey, and the French Alps.
📍In Fethiye, Turkey🪂, whether it's the stunning Mediterranean scenery or the particularly friendly and stable weather conditions, it's suitable for paragliding enthusiasts of all levels. In Fethiye, Turkey, paragliding is no longer an 'extreme sport'; it's an enjoyment, enjoying the beautiful scenery of both mountains and sea, and soaring over the magnificent Mediterranean coastline and Blue Lagoon.
📌Fethiye Paragliding TIPS✨
1️⃣The price of paragliding varies by season, averaging around 200 USD, excluding photography and video. Photography costs an additional 40 USD, which I personally think is a must. The coach will record videos and take photos for you throughout the process, and you'll get all the raw files. They will be sent directly to your app and phone upon landing.
2️⃣When choosing a paragliding company, ensure that the coach has professional qualifications, there are no language barriers, and the safety of the takeoff and landing sites is crucial. Although there are some minor price differences, the prices are generally uniform. Remember to ask in advance what services are included, such as transportation, photos, and videos. We chose Liberty.Fethiye, which you can refer to.
3️⃣For attire, wear light clothing (sportswear is best) and sports shoes (sandals and slippers are prohibited). Do not wear any accessories, and sports sunglasses are a must.
4️⃣The takeoff time depends on the wind direction and weather conditions of the day, so you need to communicate with the paragliding company at all times.
5️⃣Ordinary tourists will have one parachute with one coach. Just follow the coach's instructions and commands, no need to worry too much!

When i set out to explore Fethiye, Oludeniz was the main reason. I had long read about its blue lagoon and the turquoise quality of its water. It had me so excited. And well rightly so. Although one of the challenges was the costs associated with Oludeniz. We found a decent accommodation and Oludeniz was a taxi ride away. During the stay we managed to visit it twice.
It's a soft pebble beach where the water meets and looks absolutely stunning, just as we expected. However on both the occasions, it was fairly crowded. Though, that didn't deter us and we swam, strolling across the beach line. The prices did play a spoil sport to some extent. I mean 800 Turkish lira for the sun beds and then overpriced beverages and service charges. Especially with the crowds and all that, it didn't feel like it would be worth paying the premium. Anywho, Oludeniz still was with the trouble and anyone headed this way. I recommend exploring the rest of the Fethiye region too. It is gorgeous.

The Carringtons are a super couple. Their eye for detail and standards at this hotel are superb. The suites are beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The pool here is fantastic with a lovely bar area and sun beds are comfortable. It is a great location in between Fetyhire and Oludeniz. If you book here you will enjoy. I’m back again in September 24 and can’t wait.
Amazing views Fethiye okudeniz
2200 Metres Above the clouds in Fethiye!!
The view from the top of “Babadağ” in Fethiye-Turkey is insanely beautiful and i would recommend it to anyone visiting nearby! You start from the bottom where a cable car takes you up in 2 checkpoints to the top in around 5 minutes where its famously known for its skydiving platform. You can sit in the restaurant and enjoy the views and watch people take off into the clouds! Or take off yourself!! There is also a chair lift which takes you even higher to another restaurant with EVEN BETTER views! The place is open all day and is a must see if you are in the area. #fethiye #mountain #turkey

The highly requested detailed guide for a self-drive car rental on Turkey's D400 highway
The promised guide for a self-drive on Turkey's D400 is here❗️
I enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the D400 in the past few days, the Mediterranean is just too beautiful!
Many people asked for car rental tips and things to note for self-driving⚠️
👇I'll share the details in this guide, I suggest reading and memorizing the whole text❗️
1️⃣Car Rental
🔸I booked online in advance, you can use any domestic platform
🔸Passport, domestic driver's license, translated driver's license, foreign currency credit card
🔸Manual transmission is cheaper, returning the car in a different location is more expensive, we paid 550 (including insurance) for 3 days💰
2️⃣Pick-up and Return
🔸The distance from Antalya to Fethiye is not far, we chose Antalya Airport for pick-up and return, saving about ¥1000 on the fee for returning the car elsewhere
🔸When picking up the car, check the fuel level, take a video of the car body, and confirm the condition of the car
🔸When returning the car, refill the fuel to the same level, and hand over the car after confirming there are no issues on the spot
🔸The car rental company offers a 🆓 ride to the airport
3️⃣Parking and Refueling
🔸Most of the attractions along the D400 offer free parking
🔸Search for 'otopark' for parking lots
🔸There are many gas stations, our total fuel cost was 400💰
🔸Full-service refueling, cash and credit cards are both accepted🉑, and they even clean your car for free
4️⃣Driving Safety
🔸Common signs are seen
🔸No right turn on red❗️This is different from domestic rules
🔸There are many bends on the mountain roads from Ölüdeniz to Kaş, and Antalya is prone to traffic jams due to heavy traffic
5️⃣Self-Drive Route
🔸Counterclockwise is closer to the sea:
Fethiye-Kalkan-Finike-Kaş-Antalya
🔸Our route:
▪️D1 Pick up car in Antalya-Aspendos Ancient Theatre-Xanthos Ancient City, Temple of Apollo-🏨Kaş
▪️D2 Stroll around Kaş town, Antiphellos Ancient Theatre-Xanthos Ancient City Ruins-Kaputaş Beach-Butterfly Valley-🏨Ölüdeniz
▪️D3 Ölüdeniz Beach-Kalkan town-Stop and check-in along the way at will-Return car in Antalya
6️⃣Essential Scenic Spots Along the Way
✔️【viewpoint oludeniz】Overlooking Ölüdeniz, the beach is unrealistically beautiful
✔️【konul plaji】A must-visit heart-shaped rock cave
✔️【butterfly valley】The glass sea under the cliff, extremely beautiful
✔️【kaputas plaji】The most beautiful cliff beach
✔️There are also many unknown spots that are very beautiful! Can't help but stop!
7️⃣Accommodation Recommendations
🔹Ölüdeniz oludeniz
A super beautiful resort beach, landing spot for paragliding
🔹Kalkan kalkan
A holiday town loved by the British
🔹Kaş kas
The town, port, and leisurely life are too comfortable
The Dead Sea of Fethiye, Turkey
This Dead Sea is located at a famous beach in Turkey, which is different from the salt-rich 'Dead Sea' in the Red Sea region of Israel. The name of the Turkish Dead Sea comes from its unique coastal geography, where a narrow strip of coastline extends into the Mediterranean bay, splitting the bay in two. The inner side of the water, due to its narrow area, is as still as a dead pool, hence the name 'Dead Sea'.
Fethiye is also a mecca for paragliding, and for those who are not afraid of heights, flying on a paraglider should be a great experience.
As for those of us who are afraid of heights, we can only sit by the Dead Sea,
watching the tides ebb and flow, listening to the sound of the waves,
watching others glide up and down in the sky,
observing the immortal pebbles,
for a thousand years, ten thousand years...
Fabulous view of the famous Blue Lagoon!
The most spectacular view after an amazing hike on the Lycian Way! Follow the signs along the Lycian Way and you will end up seeing a view like no other of the famous Blue Lagoon in Ölü Deniz! A must do when in the area, make sure you have a cold drink and maybe pack a picnic to enjoy at the top of the mountain! #Öludeniz #fethiye #hike #Walking #falltrip
Fethiye: the starting of the Lycian trail
We came to Fethiye from Kas to spend our weekend. The road took us 1,5 hour.
First thing we did was great big Turkish breakfast, which cost us twice cheaper than it would in Kas. There is a long promenade along the sea, cost with great variety of restaurants and cafés, so we chose on of them and it was good.
Later we walked towards the marine, the antic theater was on reconstruction so we couldn’t see much of it. Next to the ancient theater there is way up, which is also a starting off the ancient Lycian way to Antalya. By following this road, you can get to the ancient tombs, they are also called Tom of Amyntas and they definitely worse visiting.#turkiye #trip #fethiye #Ancient tombs
#freehotelstay amazing holiday, in beautiful Turkey.. The hotel was spectacular and the Turkish people were so lovely, caring and helpful
Relaxing Turkey
Sunset in Istanbul Turkey
Türkiye Paragliding Tour
I can't book skydiving (there is only one skydiving company in Turkey).
So chose to go paragliding at Oludeniz.
First arrived at the meeting point to board the car they arranged, sat for about 40 minutes, and arrived at the starting point to prepare.
The 2000M Babadag mountain range (Dadong Mountain is only 800M), before it started, already felt its kind of shock. The day was very lucky, the sky was great, the temperature was not too cold, and the paragliding company was very careful to prepare some coats for us.
On the right is the Aegean Sea, overlooking Greece, Cyprus and other places
The Mediterranean Sea is on the left, and the sunset is directly in front of it. It's simply a painting
It takes about 45 minutes to get from the mountain to the ground to complete this activity.
It’s amazing 😻 área to travelling as a solo travelling, family, friends…bunch of things to do!#infinitypool

Well! let's start here 🪂
Paragliding with Re.Action was really amazing during my stay in Fethiye, Turkey. You can't miss such an opportunity if you're there right now! My recommended pilot is Emre 👌
The prices are really affordable and most members speak english, the location has few small restaurants and gift shops for your way back.
Note: It is better to have your snack after paragliding and not before!

Paragliding to see the beauty of Turkey 🇹🇷 - the final stop
It's such a pity that Turkey was hit by the earthquake. After all, there are too many beautiful places to visit, and who knows when we can go again! So let's quickly finish writing about the places we've visited before.
On my third stop of the Turkey trip, Antalya, we flew from Cappadocia to Antalya on Pegasus Airlines, which only took one hour. After that, we could wander around freely, such as the Kaleici historic district, ancient city ruins, and the Roman harbor (it really feels like southern Italy here)! Our local tour guide booked us a room at the Antalya Wyndham Grand Plaza Hotel, which is "all-inclusive", meaning breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as drinks at the bar at night, are all included, super 👍.
The next day, we took the D400 Mediterranean road to Kas town. We visited the Antiphellos ancient theater and sat on the highest step, gazing at the distant naval ships on the sea while quietly contemplating, at the Andyphellos ruins.
Finally arrived at Fethiye Mula, the second biggest highlight of this trip to Turkey, paragliding 🪂.
📝Paragliding attention tips:
1. Apply sunscreen properly, even though the whole journey takes only about half an hour, it can be really sunny.
2. Sunglasses 🕶️, must bring sunglasses otherwise the photos will be unwatchable.
3. Be sure to wear loose clothing, otherwise it will be uncomfortable after the paraglider safety belt is fastened.
4. Don't wear complicated hairstyles, but don't leave your hair loose either! Because you have to wear a helmet at the beginning, and the coach pilot behind you will help take off the helmet and take photos after you're in the air. So it's not easy to wear a helmet with complicated hairstyles, and loose hair will go crazy in the sky.
5. If you want to enjoy the scenery, don't go for the "extreme" option, as the descent from aerial maneuvers will be very fast.
6. Personally, I think you should wear snug-fitting athletic shoes because you'll be running and jumping down together with the coach.
7. Find a legitimate skydiving company! Full transportation service provided, coaches have over 20 years of flying experience.
Coach took over 200 photos of me and there are also 2 videos.
In the afternoon, we rented a yacht and went to Butterfly Valley in the Glass Sea. The sea water was still like jade, and we found a sun umbrella to bask in the sun 🌞.
