I usually go there at night, but this time I went at lunch, so I was able to eat the ryukyu bowl, which is only available for 10 servings at lunchtime. [Hirokawa Rose Garden] A lovely couple grows roses with great care and opens their garden to the public as "Hirokawa Rose Garden"✨ This is a seasonal tourist spot that has been featured on TV many times♪ Gorgeous roses spread across the mountainside garden, and are accompanied by flower nameplates. There is also a garden where small concerts can be held, and the variety of roses is quite large⭐️ The peak season is in May, but autumn roses also bloom in the fall, making for a wonderful sight❤️ Parking is available during the rose season. Located between Beppu City and Oita City, Takasakiyama is famous for its wild monkeys. I heard from the innkeeper that it's a hidden spot with a great view that you can climb even in light clothing, so I decided to climb it⭐️ The hiking-like path continues for about 3km one way, with an elevation difference of 300m. There was only one steep spot, and I was wearing sneakers, but I was able to make the round trip in about 2 hours😊 When you reach the top of the mountain, you'll be greeted with a spectacular view of Beppu Bay✨ The road to the parking lot is narrow and there are places where only one car can pass, so I drove while praying that there would be no oncoming cars. The noodles have beautiful lines and are shiny, flat and thick with elasticity. The tsukemen soup is generous, and the well-seasoned char siu is thick, soft and delicious. The char siu bowl was so popular that it sold out. It takes about 10 minutes to boil the noodles, so they will take your order while you are waiting in line. The shop has a bright atmosphere with nine counter seats and a table in the back that can seat four. The staff are very friendly, and you pay at your seat.
