National park of Bandai Asahi
#japantrip
Bandai-Asahi National Park is a national park in the Tōhoku region, Honshū, Japan 🇯🇵.
The park site straddles over Fukushima Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, and Niigata Prefecture. The park was designated as a national park on September 5, 1950.
The easiest way to reach the Bandai-Azuma/Inawashiro area is by riding the Tohoku Shinkansen to Fukushima Station or Koriyama Station, then renting a car.
The animals such as marshes and wetlands around the park are graced with flowers such as daylilies and the fragrant maiden lily.
The park's lush forests and wetlands shelter a variety of mammals as well, such as Asiatic black bears and Japanese serows, as well as golden eagles and peregrine falcons.
The trail was well maintained, few tricky/dangerous places, and manageable even for children. Using a cable car allows you to reach the top around 90 min.

Autumn foliage sightings
#falltrip
Yamagata prefecture is said to be one of the most beautiful locations for beech trees in the country, as it has many beech trees with golden-yellow leaves, as well as a large temperature difference between day and night, which are favorable conditions for beautifully colored autumn leaves.
You can only see these spectacular views of Tohoku's colorfully tinted fields and mountains in the autumn season, making for a special autumn-exclusive activity.
From the end of September to November, the leaves of deciduous broadleaf trees change color, bathing the mountains and towns of the valleys in a beautiful sea of red, yellow, and orange. Autumn leaves can be seen all over the world, but there is a reason why the autumn leaves in Japan are said to be particularly beautiful.
