Woodnest | Step into the fairy tale world of the little cabin
🌟 | Woodnest
⛳️ | Norway
This country located in northern Europe
borders Russia to the north, Sweden to the east
and is bordered by the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea to the west and south
With many coastal islands, it is known as the 'Country of a Thousand Islands'
Woodnest is located in Odda, the site of the Troll's Tongue
The treehouses are built among the forests, hanging on living trees
There are steep canyons, and the scenic Hardangerfjord
Sitting in front of the 'tree-top' floor-to-ceiling windows, you can enjoy the magnificent fjord
The architecture was designed and built in two phases by the Norwegian architectural studio
Helen & Hard, who jointly created Woodnest
This is a very unique design concept
The cabins are fixed to the pine trees on the steep slopes of Odda, Norway
Hanging six meters above the forest floor
Each cabin is secured to a living pine tree with steel rings
Providing a unique spatial experience reminiscent of tree climbing adventures
There are a total of 4 treehouses, each with 15 square meters
Despite their small size, they have everything you need
Equipped with a small kitchen and modern facilities, including electricity
And each treehouse has underfloor heating and a bathtub
The natural wood-colored furniture matches the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows
Hand-carved wooden bathtubs and a height-adjustable bed
With just the press of a button, the bed descends from the ceiling
Looking out at the ever-changing beautiful scenery of the Queen of the Fjords
Daydreaming all day feels very comfortable and happy
When it snows, the snowy bay scenery is incredibly beautiful
If you're lucky, you might even see the Northern Lights, which can bring you luck for the whole year
