Trolltunga is a rock formation situated about 1,100 metres above sea level in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The cliff juts horizontally out from the mountain, about 700 metres above the north side of the lake Ringedalsvatnet. Popularity of the hike to Trolltunga and rock formation itself has exploded in recent years. The increased popularity has turned Trolltunga into a national icon and a major tourist attraction for the region. Until 2010, fewer than 800 people hiked to Trolltunga each year. In 2016 more than 80,000 people hiked the 27-kilometre (17 mi) round-trip from the village of Skjeggedal, making it one of Norway's most popular hikes. #hiking

After walking for six hours, we finally arrived at trolltunga😍 Actually, troll is the giant in the legend of the Norwegian forest. It just so happens that this strange stone is protruding from the side of the mountain like his 👅 so there is the name of the devil's tongue Because it takes about 10-12 hours to walk we have to start leaving at 7 am At first there is a Z-shaped uphill to see some cars are able to go up and skip this uphill but we did not know there was this option 🤣 Although the temperature to go in early September is only 5-6 degrees, it will be even colder in the morning But my outfit is just a short sleeve tshirt with a thin down plus a windbreaker Also halfway through the Z section I had taken off my down jacket😂 Then every 1km there will be instructions to let you know how far you are from your destination Certain sections will be more gravel or have running water so be especially careful You have to queue up to take this photo when you get to trolltunga My place was like queuing for about 30 to 45 minutes The main thing is to test everyone's endurance and leg strength I still remember walking back down the hill at the end of the crazy downhill that really made my legs tremble🙈 #travel abroad #kol photo hotspots #travel inspiration #attraction photography guide #coolest travel experience #nature wonders #OverseasTravel

An amazing hut that has everything you need for a unique getaway! The hard work that the owners have put in to build this awesome place cannot be underestimated. It was an amazing stay at Woodnest. The photos don´t do justice, it is even better 🤩 if you like to walk, the walk is not that difficult it just adds to the uniqueness of this place! One of the most beautiful places I had the chance to stay at, 100% recommended. Thank you guys for what you have created ❤️ We are also very impressed by the cleaning staff who takes the rather difficult hike every single day to make sure the guests feel welcome in a clean hut!

Latefossen in Norway, called the Twin Falls, is located in the middle of the road you are driving on. It is a place where you can see the cool spray of water as you pass by. Don't just pass by, stop your car for a moment, get splashed by the spray, and take a picture. It will be a good memory. #TravelSupportEvent

Tip would be to pre book parking at P3 so you can start further up the mountain without having to wait for a shuttle bus! It costs about 500 kr buts it’s well worth it. Once at the top try get someone to take a pic of you as it’s a little far from the actual younger

#celebratewithtrip I'm on the edge (nyanyi gaya Gaga ok) - at the tip of the tongue Subhanallah :) Checked the infamous #trolltunga a.k.a #trollkykra a.k.a #trollstigen. The 11km trail was challenging especially at KM1. Ascending took around 4hr 45 mins mainly because as a typical Malaysian, every spot worth a click :p Spent 1 & a half hour at the top and descending took 4 hours.Hate that last 1KM !!?##### Plus walking on the snow is definitely not my forte. #tripaway Trolltunga is a rock sticking out into space 700 metres above Ringedalsvatnet lake in Norway. The hike was challenging as it was drizzling for the whole day. Every steps on the slippery rocks was so carefully calculated so that we wouldn’t fall to our death, but we were blessed with magnificent views along the way. It was definitely a hike that I wouldn’t forget! #tripaway
