If you happen to visit Sapporo and want to see snow in March do visit Mt Moiwa. It has an observatory area where you can visit, build snowman and also see the night landscape of Sapporo late at night. recommended to spend about 2 hours here and come around 1730. Niseko is the most famous ski resort in Japan and perhaps the world, known for having light powder snow. The winter alpine scenery is definitely breathtaking to say the least. It is 2.5hrs drive from Chitose Airport. It comprises 4 interlinked ski resorts – Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and An’nupuri – renowned for its consistency and quality of powder snow throughout the winter making it a perfect place to ski. Averaging around 15m+ of snow each season, it’s a serious contender for snowiest place in the world. I have not visited any snowier place than Niseko and this was corroborated by my ski instructor from the UK who was previously based in Austria. Hinode Hills located within Niseko Village is a five star apartment hotel which offers spacious living and sleeping area with each room having floor to ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. The Truth About Moiwa. Having skied about a dozen Hokkaido ski-fields, I can tell you Moiwa rocks! Whilst it's small, we love it because it offers awesome off-piste (within the resort on the shirakaba slope) that will truly satisfy those experimenting with powder skiing (plus groomers for beginners/intermediates) For the more adventurous, you can boot (or skate) out gate 6 (or 10) to access some great side-country that feeds back into the quad lift. For the even more adventurous, gate 6 also takes you over the back if you're happy to skin and earn your turns. Please make sure you have avo gear - beacon, shovel and probe mandatory. The crowds are much smaller than the major Niseko resorts and the restaurant to the bottom of the hill offers very good quality food at reasonable prices. Hope you enjoy it. #tripblazers #awesomepic

#bucketlistreboot Niseko Annupuri Kokusai Ski Area, Hokkaido , Japan Impressive amount of snow. There are many ski resorts in Niseko. I stopped at Abuta because that’s where the public bus stopped . Took a ride from Sapporo station -Hakodate Line Local towards Otaru - stop at Otaru Station Hakodate Line Local towards Kutchan- Kutchan station followed by Hakodate Line Local towards Rankoshi to Niseko station . Take pictures and then wait for local bus to Niseko Annupuri. Make sure you have a JR pass to do this. As I am doing a day trip , I don’t mind the multiple stops. as the train rides itself is already considered a good journey .

#100 Ways to Travel The view is incredible. The guest room is not very new, but it is spacious and well-equipped. Children will be given ice cream coupons when checking in, but no Welcome Drink arrangements are made. The bathhouse is very elegant, with stress-relieving music playing all the time. The temperature of the open-air bath is not too high at about 40 degrees. There is a large fish pond in front, and you can see swimming fish during the day. It is definitely not to be missed. The buffet breakfast has many choices, almost as good as the lunch buffet. It costs about 2,000 yen per person. It is really worth it. There is ice cream to choose from for breakfast. What else can I fault? The interior looks a bit old and the hotel is a bit remote. , but overall very nice, clean and comfortable. It has its own ski resort and rental shop. It was very windy and snowy during the two days we arrived, but it was very romantic and I liked it very much. I will stay here again next time I have the chance.

Skiing in Niseko Annupuri. It’s my most favourite place to ski. Gorgeous Mt Yotei backdrops. Great food selections on the ski field.I visit there almost every year. Loving the Japanese charms. I visited Takahashi Farm😊 There are many restaurants, general stores, and chocolate shops Everything looked so delicious that there was so much I wanted to try... Hokkaido has so many delicious things that it's a problem~😳😳 I bought some drinking yogurt, pudding, and cheese souffle to take home! I ate and drank it right away at home, but the drinking yogurt and smooth pudding were so delicious that I want to go back and buy them again right away! The weather is so hot. I want the end of the year to come soon. Snow in Japan is waiting! Last February, I had the chance to go to the Sapporo Snow Festival and didn't miss Niseko, a city of skiing and snow that is known to be the softest!! Even when I went in February, the snow was still fluffy. It was still snowing to my heart's content. Anyone who comes at the beginning of the snow season will definitely have fluffy snow... For Niseko, it's very easy to travel to by plane from Thailand to Sapporo. From the city to the airport, there will be a ticket counter for traveling to Niseko, which takes only about 2.30 hours. In this city, we can rent all types of ski equipment and there are many mountains for us to ski and change the atmosphere of skiing. For me, it has to be the green Beginning practice. I like to play in 2 places: Hirafu and Annupuri. I think the ski slopes are wide and easy to play, suitable for beginners like me. Anyone who sees snow now must be too hot. Interesting farm to visit! There’s a cute cafe serving ice cream and dorayaki made of ostrich eggs right next to the farm with a good view of the farm! It was fun watching the ostriches and we had a good time! The place is quite secluded with not many tourists! It is located in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan.
