Ninh Binh is a place rich in nature, only a two-hour bus ride from Hanoi, Vietnam. It is divided into the Tam Coc area and the Trang An area, and you can take a boat tour while enjoying the beautiful scenery in both areas. Tam Coc is full of nature, and Trang An is full of history. 📍Vietnam World Heritage Site Ninh Binh, a World Heritage Site I went on a tour to all the spots listed here. It was a lot of work and hard, but I enjoyed it and was very satisfied! ⚫︎Hoa Lu Ruins A historical heritage site where the capital of Vietnam's first dynasty remains ⚫︎Lunch at Ninh Binh Restaurant Buffet-style lunch It was great because I could eat a variety of Vietnamese dishes. ⚫︎Cycling around Tam Coc Cycling through villages lined with rice fields and mountains was the best feeling. ⚫︎Boat cruise in Trang An A spot also known as the "Halong Bay on land" You can see mountains so high you have to look up, enter caves so high you have to bend your head, and feel the grandeur of nature. The boat is rowed by a lady, so you can enjoy the scenery at your leisure ✌︎ lol ⚫︎ Trekking to Mt. Ngoa Long A great spot to see the sunset I was a bit naive when I heard it was just a hike, but it was actually quite a tough climb. Love the ambience, service. I know it was a surprised to member of the staffs to see me coming in yet she politely mention on the nature of the menu served, as I knew it prior to coming there. Good coffee but too strong for my taste. They had nice looking croissants but I didnt get to try. View is similar to halong bay but way cheaper and lesser people! Truly a hidden gem. There are multiple routes to choose from and we recommend choosing the one with the longest cave. Rowing through the cave took like 10 over minutes with views of stalactites and some parts are so low that you will have to lie down. Don't miss this out!

Our journey to Fansipan, the "Roof of Indochina," was a thrilling ascent, offering panoramic views of terraced rice fields and distant valleys. At Nhà Thờ Đá, the iconic stone church, we felt the pulse of Sapa's rich history. The serene landscapes of Núi Hàm Rồng and the mesmerizing Cầu kính rồng mây provided us with countless photo opportunities. A visit to Cây cô đơn, the famous lone tree, left us marveling at nature's solitary beauty, while the Nhà văn hóa Thôn Cát Cát introduced us to the vibrant traditions of the H'Mong people. Each location in Sapa, from its cultural hubs to its natural wonders, left us with lasting memories and a deep appreciation for this unique region. Returning to Hanoi, we were eager for the next leg of our journey—a day tour to Ninh Binh, often referred to as the "Ha Long Bay on land." Exploring the Bich Dong and Bai Dinh Pagodas, we were captivated by the intricate architecture and peaceful surroundings. The Mua Cave and its viewpoint offered a challenging climb, rewarded by sweeping views of the Tam Coc valley below—a sight that took our breath away. On our final day, we transferred from our hotel in Hanoi back to Noi Bai International Airport, reflecting on our incredible journey. Vietnam's diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage had left an indelible mark on our hearts, making this a trip we would cherish forever.
