#timetotravel Getting There - From Cebu City you can hop on a bus from Cebu's South Bus Terminal. It is if you want a less expensive but longer route than a direct flight. The earliest trip starts at 5:30 AM and the latest is at 6:00 PM. Since there's no bridge connecting the main island of Negros Oriental and Cebu, the bus will board a ferry and continue the travel to Dumaguete. The total travel time is around 5 hours and 30 minutes to 6 hours. It costs 350php for the bus fare. Attractions - Dumaguete is known for ancestral houses, beaches and falls, coffee shops and tasty silvanas. Dumaguete Boulevard is one of the most popular places in Dumaguete. Hotels - There are many hotels in Dumaguete to choose from. In our case we booked Coco Grande Hotel through Tripcom. Food & Restaurants - Many restaurants to try and if you go to Dumaguete Boulevard, there are variety of street food as well. Shopping - There is no problem about shopping in Dumaguete. Had a blast family outing at Forest Camp located at Valencia, Negros Oriental. We love to bring the kids here as they enjoyed every outing we had here. The ambiance is so cool and fascinating.
