Nazare beach is located to the south of the imposing Nazaré Promontory, better known as “Sítio”. The pictures are from Nazaré beach and its port during the summer. A lot of tourists come to get tanned and their deserved vacations and these are conjugated with international beach soccer and handball tournaments and championships. The restaurants have fresh fish and great options to eat are near the beach. so you don’t need to walk a lot and you’ll have an amazing view 😊 The villlage is now well known for its big waves. But that happens on the north beach where a wave, 30m high, was ridden by the Hawaiian Garrett McNamara, in November 2011, and was nominated “Biggest wave” in 2011 by the Billabong XXL Global Big Wave Awards. It's great for Japanese people that there is a bathtub. It's cheap and clean. The free breakfast is delicious and has a wide variety. It was enough for my needs. It's just a few seconds walk to the supermarket, stylish souvenir shop, market, and beach. Next time I'd like to stay for a few days.
