Romantic Firework in Summer Seasons
The Nagaoka Firework is one of the 3 grand Firework festivals🎆 in Japan and is normally held in summer for 2 days in Nagaoka city, Niigata, at the end of July.
During the Firework festival, there will be around 1 million people💑👨👩👧👨👩👧👦 come to Nagaoka to experience the magnificent Firework, and the show will start at sunset time and will last for around 1.5 hours.
If there is chance, it is strongly recommended to experience the superb atmosphere in person, as the passion and movement you can feel at scene is unparalleled💗
Tips:
💡 If it is part of your journey, it is strongly recommended to prepare as early as possible as during the Firework festival, there is few hotels available in Nagaoka, even in Niigata.
💡To book a ticket in advance is recommended. Even there are free areas to watch the show, it requires to arrive 4-6 hours before to secure the place, thus a ticket can save more time and energy.

Umataka Jōmon Museum
Although the museum is small, the content is very rich and I thoroughly enjoyed it. After all, flame earthenware is wonderful. The other exhibits are also worth seeing, so if you are a fan of the Jomon period, this is a must-visit facility. The building is located in a corner of a spacious ruins, so it would be a good idea to take some time to tour the restored building. If you are coming from afar, we recommend visiting the nearby Niigata Prefectural Museum of History and Tokamachi City Museum together.
We also voted on the project and received goods.

The Niigata Prefectural Museum of History
This museum is full of exhibits and research on the Jomon period, and is filled with artifacts excavated from within the prefecture. There are so many earthenware exhibition corners that it will take you about 30 minutes to browse them slowly. It seems like a separate museum could be built with the earthenware tound only here.
Flame-shaped pottery has been discovered mainly in the Shinano River basin in Niigata Prefecture. This is a large-scale exhibit unique to Niigata, with approximately 90 pieces of flame pottery whose almost complete shapes can be seen, and 162 pattern samples.

Natural Ecological Park Niigata
#thingstodo
The plants that were planted have grown and become a natural swamp. Ducks swam on the surface of the water, which was overgrown with grass, and herons began to swoop down to prey on the water's edge. It's an irresistible place for bird watchers.
It’s a natural ecological garden, and worth a visit in Niigata...................................

Parks with Baseball Field
#thingstodo
It's a large park with a baseball field.
There is also a complete set of play equipment such as slides and swings for toddlers. There is a difference in elevation, so it's perfect for a walk
The park is a short hike up the hill. It overlooks a baseball palyground. It is secluded and quiet and there are a few claisthenics equipment in the upper part. On the downside, there are lots of mosquitos around during summer (as well as cicadas).
