Thai-Lao border in Phrae
🌟 It is located in Na Haeo Subdistrict, Na Haeo District, Loei Province, Thailand.
🌼 which is the border point between Thailand and Laos. able to walk across for ease of commuting via a bamboo bridge built to cross the Huang River Because Thai and Lao people on both sides of the Hue River have their roots in kinship. In this neighborhood, there is the same culture and tradition. They have a rural lifestyle, work in agriculture, use the Thai language to communicate and use Thai money as a means of trading. This point is considered the highlight point that tourists must visit. and will be able to see the way of life of the villagers from both sides
Wat Si Pho Chai
#thailandtrip
Address: Saengpha Subdistrict, Na Haeo District, Loei Province, Thailand 🇹🇭
Wat Si Pho Chai was built in 1547 and established as a temple in 1832 by a group of hunters from Vientiane, led by the leader Siang Pha, who moved their families and relatives to settle in the Saeng Pha village. The sim or chapel is a Lan Xang art style. inside the chapel is the principal Buddha image, which is a Buddha sitting cross-legged in the diamond meditation posture, in the Lan Xang art style, named Luang Pho Yai, which has the appearance of the chapel similar to Wat Xieng Thong in Luang Prabang Province, Laos 🇱🇦. The atmosphere is peaceful, shady, and beautiful. It is worth visiting and should be preserved.

Ban Saeng Pha, Na Haeo District, Loei Province
There are many tourist spots in Ban Saeng Pha, but due to limited time, I couldn't visit them all. The viewpoint at the Ban Saeng Pha Subdistrict Administrative Organization offers a view of the rice fields and Wat Si Pho Chai. Unfortunately, when I visited, the rice hadn't been planted yet. If the fields were green, it would have been even more beautiful.
Another viewpoint is just before entering the village. There is a large woven wooden structure, though I'm not sure what it's called. Parking here is a bit tricky, so be careful. This spot also offers a view of the temple, but it's not as clear as the first viewpoint.
Wat Si Pho Chai, Loei Province.
This Thai temple resembles those in the northern region. The Buddha statues here are different from those in the central region. The main hall is made of wood, which seems quite old, giving it a sacred feel.
The area outside the temple is spacious, making parking convenient. The restrooms are clean. There are local vendors selling regional products, resembling a small market. It's unclear if they sell every day.
On the other side, where the pavilion is located, there is an old bell tower as well. If you visit Na Haeo District, I recommend visiting this temple.
