Mysore Palace, India
This trip began with a morning departure from Bangalore, taking about three hours to reach the magnificent Mysore Palace. The cream-colored building, contrasted with its red and gold Indo-Islamic domes, immediately stands out like something from a fairytale, visible even from afar.
We slowly walked through the main gate into a spacious courtyard. The stone floor sparkled under the sunlight, and the area was bustling with tourists and locals alike, capturing the beauty of the palace in photos. Inside, the palace is adorned with intricate designs, beautifully carved ceilings, detailed tiles, and grand halls decorated with opulent chandeliers.
🎨 Our favorite highlight was in the late afternoon when the sunlight softened, casting a warm golden glow on the palace. It was breathtakingly beautiful, almost making us hold our breath. Sitting quietly on the lawn in front of the palace, simply gazing at it felt like traveling back in time to the royal era.
