Fairy Tale Town Dalat and Mui Ne
Da Lat to Mui Ne, only 4 hours by bus
🏜 Mui Ne (half desert, half sea)
I recommend chartering a car for a half-day tour. We rented a car from a local tour group for 580,000 VND. The driver was very nice and even took photos for us for free. Highly recommended.
🏜 White Dunes: A place to see the sunrise, about 30 minutes drive from the city center. The dunes are vast with few people, definitely a holy land for photography! You can spend 60,000 VND on a sandbike because it takes a long time to climb the White Dunes, and you can experience the excitement of sandbiking.
🏜 Red Dunes: Half desert, half sea, a place to see the sunset, very close to the city center. You can play sand sliding here, which is basically renting a mat and sliding as many times as you want, 3,000 VND/1 mat. It's a good idea for everyone to rent one and play together.
(If you can wake up early, I suggest chartering a car to the White Dunes to see the sunrise in the morning and go to the Red Dunes for sunset on your own in the evening)
🏞 Fairy Stream: It's a river, and you walk across it barefoot. Remember to turn back when the water reaches knee level! Because walking along the stream won't get you back to where you started, and the water there is dirty with lots of garbage. I even stepped on a thorny branch, and my feet were bleeding!
🎣 Fishing Village: Very dirty and ugly, not recommended to visit, nothing interesting.
Recommend a seaside cafe where you can enjoy drip coffee and the sea breeze for a leisurely afternoon tea - TRUNG NGUYEN (168 Huynh Thuc Khang).
🏘 Fairy Tale Town - Da Lat
Looking down from a height, many colorful houses are very distinctive. Walking into every alley will bring you different surprises. Da Lat is 1500 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 17 degrees, so remember to bring a jacket and long pants.
🏚 Crazy House: Ticket 5,000 VND. This is a hotel designed by the daughter of the former Vietnamese president. Because of its exaggerated and peculiar appearance, it has become a scenic spot. Highly recommended to experience it in person because it looks much better on the spot than in photos, and you can see the colorful houses. There are many people here, and the road is narrow, only enough for one person to pass through, so don't take too long for photos, or others will be waiting behind you.
💒 Domaine de Marie Convent: Pink girlish heart explosion. Any casual shot here becomes a travel masterpiece.
🛤 Da Lat Railway Station: Ticket 5,000 VND, known as the most beautiful railway station in Vietnam. Personally, I don't think it has too many distinctive features.
⛲️ Spring Fragrance Lake: Many horse carriages by the lake, very European.
💕 Recommended a super delicious restaurant, Goc Ha Thanh restaurant (53 Truong Cong Dinh), Vietnamese hotpot and clam soup, super awesome! This restaurant is even featured in Lonely Planet~
