Lower Panorama Point: A Weekend of Scenic Adventure
#outdooradventure
Trekking and camping at Lower Panorama Point was an incredible weekend adventure. We started by exploring The Steamers, Mt Steamer, and the stunning views at Lower Panorama Point. Overnighting at the remote bush camp offered a serene and immersive nature experience. The climb to LPP was a serious workout, especially at the end of a humid day, but the cooler temperatures compared to Brisbane were a relief. The breathtaking views along the ridge line from Mt Steamer to LPP made every step worthwhile. This morning, we trekked back via Davies Ridge, completing a weekend of scenic beauty and physical challenge. Lower Panorama Point is a must-visit for those seeking an exhilarating and rewarding outdoor adventure.
Lower Panorama Point: A Rewarding Bush Camping Adventure
#outdooradventure
Trekking to Lower Panorama Point was an exhilarating experience. The 3-hour hike over steep terrain was challenging, but the breathtaking views and campsite made it all worthwhile. The trail's rugged beauty, combined with the sense of adventure, created an unforgettable journey. Upon reaching the camp, I was greeted with panoramic vistas that stretched as far as the eye could see, providing a perfect backdrop for a remote bush camping experience. The serenity and natural splendor of Lower Panorama Point made it one of the best remote bush camps I've done so far. Highly recommended for those seeking a rewarding and scenic trekking and camping adventure.

Mount Victoria Lookout is particularly famous as a place where you can get a panoramic view of Wellington. It is easily accessible from the city, and from a small hill about 196 meters above sea level, you can get a panoramic view of Wellington's cityscape and beautiful harbor. This lookout is known as an iconic place in Wellington, and is a great spot to view the wide landscape with the city in the background.
Mount Victoria Lookout is especially popular at sunset, when the view of Wellington dyed in the sunset is very beautiful. At night, the city lights sparkle and you can enjoy a fantastic night view. It is accessible by foot or car, and is popular with many tourists as a place worth visiting.

That's why the mountains look blue and are called Blue Mountains!
The Blue Mountains are so large that they are called Australia's 'Grand Canyon'
They are so beautiful that they are designated as UNESCO Natural Heritage!
* It's hard to get there without a car, so I recommend taking a tour that departs from Sydney :)
One of the
One of the long-awaited scenes of life is to enter the filming scene, especially my favorite "The Lord of the Rings" series.
But before coming to Mount Victoria, I could hardly imagine how such a fantasy blockbuster could be shot in the most central park in the New Zealand capital. After all, it is a favorite of locals jogging and cycling. But when I climbed the mountain that didn't look so high, passed the lush virgin forest, and saw the magnificent coastline under the mountain... I knew how much inspiration Peter Jackson received from his hometown of Wellington...
