This hike was highly recommended to us by our hotel's staff and we definitely do not regret deciding to go for a day trip! We got driven to Mount Emei's information center later in the morning and bought our entrance tickets in person there. We also bought a bus ticket that would bring us mid-mountain. We then had a quick lunch at one of the restaurants there and met some nice locals that gave us some great tips for the hike. We started our ascent around 1PM, decided to skip the cable car, and decided to hike by foot. After enjoying the mountain views along the hike, we reached the summit around 3PM.
