A day trip to the Principality of Monaco
#myitinerary #100waysoftravel
Imagine traveling to a country whose size is smaller than a town, you got it, the Principality of Monaco. Spanning a size of 2.08km2, it is the second smallest country in the world after Vatican City. It is ho.e to 38,682 residences, being recognized as the wealthiest and most expensive in the world. We went there in the morning and decided to take a ride and stroll around the country. We first took the Azur express which brings us around the town, then we walk around and visited place like the French Riviera, Monte Carlo Casino, Prince's Palace, Saint Devote Church etc. We did not stay in the country but would one day like to do so, as you get to enjoy the breeze of one of the wealthiest country in the world. Simply a splendid tour in the city and I will definitely come again.

Visit the Oceanographic Museum
At the end of the Saint Martin Gardens you will be able to see the Oceanographic Museum. From what we read, this is very similar to SEA LIFE London Aquarium and we didn’t feel like visiting on this occasion.
If you haven’t been to a place like this before or if you are visiting Monaco with kids, then the Oceanographic Museum might just be the right thing for you.
The Oceanographic Museum is a museum of marine sciences in Monaco-Ville, Monaco. This building is part of the Institut océanographique, which is committed to sharing its knowledge of the oceans.

Monaco Cathedral
#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #cathedral
The cathedral is right next to the Palace of Justice which boasts an interesting design with white stone. The cathedral itself looks magnificent and overlooks the Gardens of Saint Martin and the Mediterranean.
The inside décor of the cathedral is just as impressive and serves as the final resting place for the royal family of Monaco. The bright stained glass alongside the paintings make this cathedral stand out from others you might have seen.
It's free to visit and you only need 10-15 mins. We saw the cathedral and sat down for a moment to relax before heading downhill to the harbour.

Visit the Prince’s Palace of Monaco

Visit the Prince’s Palace of Monaco
This is a great opportunity to see the state rooms of the Palace and learn more about the Grimaldi family and their heritage and history.
The palace showcases many works of art as well as the Royal Library and Chapel. The visit shouldn’t take longer than 45 minutes so definitely worth your time. To check prices and admission times follow their website.
Overall a great visit and would strongly recommend.
The price is affordable as well - 10 euros or 5 euros for students .The Palace is beautiful on the inside and worth visiting. Allocate 60-90 minutes

Fontvieille Shopping Centre
While Fontvieille Shopping Centre maintains some of the elegance you’d expect from a location such as Monaco, there’s plenty of more practical offerings here too. On the one hand, you’ll find the private collection of antique cars of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III. On the other, you’ll find lots of everyday shopping, there’s a large Carrefour supermarket here to buy groceries and everyday items at very reasonable prices.
The McDonald’s on the 2nd floor offers some great views of the marina and its yachts, as well as the Prince's Palace of Monaco. This is a good spot to enjoy the contrast of some cheap fast food while simultaneously savouring the trappings of wealth that Monaco has become so widely known for. 🥳

People who love to travel enjoy the world first by spending half a day in Monaco
If you happen to have plans to vacation in Nice, France, then Monaco is a highly recommended nearby destination.
Many people confuse Morocco with Monaco. Morocco is in Africa and offers visa-free entry for us, while Monaco is adjacent to Nice, France, and can be reached by car in 20-30 minutes from Nice.
·
👣How to get there:
From Nice to Monaco, you can choose between taking a train or driving, both taking about the same time, around 20-30 minutes. However, I personally find driving to be more flexible. For example, if you want to visit the small town of Èze along the way, driving allows you to stop and go as you please.
🚄Train: Take the TER from Nice Requier.
🚗Driving: Navigate directly to Monte Carlo Train Station to reach the center of Monaco.
·
🌟What to do:
Our route: Monte Carlo Train Station - Monte Carlo Harbor - Prince's Palace - Monaco Cathedral - Oceanographic Museum - Saint Martin Gardens
👉Monte Carlo Harbor: Full of yachts, making us sigh with admiration at how many people are born to be rich.
👉Prince's Palace: There is an observation deck nearby, which is the best place to view the harbor. The changing of the guard ceremony takes place at the palace entrance every day at 11:55 AM, attracting many viewers. If you want to watch, remember to go early to secure a spot.
👉Monaco Cathedral: Quite grand, it is where Grace Kelly held her wedding and is also the burial place of her and the Prince of Monaco.
👉Oceanographic Museum: A museum right next to the sea, with a cool underwater world on the basement level. However, the overall museum area is not very large.
👉Saint Martin Gardens: A very quiet seaside garden where you can see another harbor in Monaco, also filled with yachts. The sea view is very picturesque.

Another Jewel in Monaco
Firstly what a spectacular location up on the hill. It gives some of the best views of Monaco. And then the art and paintings inside. If you wanna elevate this whole experience of witnessing another chapter in princess Grace's history. And more importantly this extraordinary cathedral.
Walk here via the princess Grace's garden. It will allow you memorable views of Monaco. It was also amazing to see the prince and princess' grave site and graves of several noble personalities of monaco. This is best followed by a visit to the palace.

Monaco, Monte Carlo
Monaco🇲🇨, a tiny principality in Europe, covers an area of about 200 hectares and is the second smallest country in the world, yet it is the smallest member state of the United Nations. Surrounded by France on three sides, it faces the Mediterranean Sea to the south, small but not lacking in beauty and luxury. The architecture nestled against the mountains and by the sea is quite spectacular. Monaco is still a principality to this day, not a member of the European Union, but within the EU customs territory, there are no customs checks when entering or leaving Monaco from France. The currency within its borders is the euro. It seems to be the same as the EU, but it has its own independent network signal. My mobile phone number from European countries had no network signal in Monaco, and Hong Kong tourists I met during my visit also had no signal .
The Grimaldi family, who came to this area from the Genoa region of Italy, has ruled Monaco for most of the time since 1297, except when it was occupied during the French Revolution and lost territory in 1848. It was not until 1860 that France recognized Monaco's independence. With the signing of a monetary agreement with France and the opening of the Monte Carlo 'Macau industry', Monaco's economy miraculously recovered. Today, the country relies on the income from the 'Macau industry' and tourism to become one of the wealthiest countries in the world, with a per capita income among the highest in the world. The total population of the country is estimated to be less than 40,000, with over 100 nationalities, and about 6,000 are Monegasque.
The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is a tourist attraction that is very popular with visitors, built on a cliff, with an entrance fee of 18 euros. It has a history of over 100 years and, in addition to the aquarium, has 90 tanks housing about 450 species of Mediterranean and tropical marine life. The entire aquarium is maintained by circulating seawater directly from the Mediterranean to sustain the marine life. There is also a touch pool that opens during children's holidays, allowing children to have close contact with the fish, but a separate ticket is required. In addition to the aquarium, there is also an exhibition that introduces the history of oceanography and marine biology knowledge.
Monaco City is the main tourist area, where the royal palace is located, guarded by the royal cavalry. There is a changing of the guard ceremony at noon every day, which should not be missed. Monaco City is full of winding paths and gardens shaded by green trees, with many viewing platforms from which you can overlook the panorama of Monaco from different angles. The Saint Martin Gardens and the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate are both on the way from the harbor to the palace.
You can take the French rail train to and from Nice, with a round trip for two people costing less than 20 euros, to the Monaco Monte Carlo station. There are many trains back and forth every day, and these two stations are major stops where most trains will stop. Just watch the scrolling screen for the station names. After leaving the station, turn left to go towards the 'Macau industry' and the yacht marina, where you can reach the yacht harbor pool. To the right is Monaco City, where the main attractions are concentrated.
I had no network signal on my phone, so I relied entirely on Wi-Fi from attractions and hotels to find my way. It was a tight schedule for one day, but it went smoothly. The scenery is beautiful and uplifting.

Monaco's dreamy azure coast vacation, you are my god!
Hi, the Mid-Autumn National Day holiday is coming soon👋, I want to share a super 🔥 secret with you: my long-cherished Monte Carlo seaside resort!✨
This trip is simply a dream come true!🌈 I came to Monaco's "Monte Carlo Secret Hotel" this time, and booked a very interesting parent-child suite early, as if I were in a dream world!
I have to mention that the hotel's V.I.K parent-child service is very intimate, and has prepared many welcome gifts for the children who stay, such as fresh juice, chocolate lollipops🍭 and coloring sets. Game room, chessboard, mini football field, simply children's favorite!
Opposite the Oceanographic Museum here, you can also take a sightseeing train to tour Monaco and feel the charm of this "City of Princes"! If you drive by yourself, you can reach the old town of Nice in 35 minutes. The surrounding short-distance South France tour is very convenient
In the morning, I will wake up in the sound of the waves, and then admire the incomparable super beautiful sea view🍽️ on the balcony. In the afternoon, I will participate in water experience courses, such as surfing and diving, etc., and feel like I have become an adventurer!🏄♀️ If you are tired, arrange a hydrotherapy SPA to completely relax yourself😎 .
Dinner specially went to check in a super fire🔥 Michelin three-star restaurant "Monte Carlo Louis XV-Alain Ducasse Restaurant", I heard that there will be a flash event during the National Day in Sanya Edison. The Michelin two-star chef of Blue Bay will be on the scene to cook. Don't miss the foodies!
Facing such a beautiful sea view, wine and music are a perfect match🍻, the signature cocktail super great jazz style American bar, the hotel's Crystal Bar and outdoor wine lounge...
This "legendary everywhere" place interprets a unique lifestyle for a century, and the entire azure coast gives an indescribable shock experience.
The service of the entire resort is top-notch! Their enthusiasm made me feel very warm🥰
I want to strongly recommend this hotel to all friends who like luxury vacations and beautiful sea views! You will definitely fall in love with this dreamy vacation treasure!

Rolling down my pics gallery, I see some pretty pictures of #Monaco from 2 months ago. I got in love with the city’s vibe a climate. Loads of sun and nice people turisting around. The view of the port really caught my attention along the cliffs on the right. Monaco is bright and I really look forward to come back next summer for nice drinks and a pleasant walk with this sea view 💜

Sculptures in Saint Martin Garden.
Saint-Martin Gardens (Jardins Saint-Martin) is a typical Mediterranean-style garden. The garden is planted with pine forests, green oaks, fragrant peach trees, pistachio trees... and later added some exotic tree species adapted to the climate in the garden.
This verdant garden is hidden beneath the road between the Oceanographic Museum and the Cathedral, where strollers can experience constant surprises along the way and immerse themselves in the unique Mediterranean blue sea view.
Stroll along the garden and admire the exquisite sculptures.

Change of the guard, Monaco 🇲🇨
#celebratewithtrip #monaco #montecarlo #palace #changeoftheguard
When we went to Monaco, we knew we will be going to see the change of the guard, so we planned our day accordingly.
The change of the guard was at 11:55 just outside the Palace.
Although not as impressive as the change of the guard at Buckingham Palace, it is still worth going on time for the spectacle.
There will be some crowd but we can’t say it was that crowded. In many terms the guards were fairly close to the people similarly to the change of the guard in Oslo.
You can see more about times and additional information on their website.

The city of Monaco, known as Le Rocher, is the best preserved medieval street in Monaco today. I often come to Monaco, bathe in the sunshine here, and don't need to take time to punch in various attractions. I like to walk on the old streets in such a purposeless manner, and come and laugh with the tourists coming and going.
In the medieval streets here, every place can be a place for photography. The quaint streets, the spectacular marble buildings, and the fast-moving luxury cars allow you to take different styles of beauty!
Located on the observation deck beside the Royal Palace of Monaco, it is the best place to enjoy the whole city of Monaco. It is a good place to enjoy the beauty of the city of Monaco in the afternoon, or to enjoy the night view at night. s Choice.

It's true, and it's a very good location!
Monaco does not have a race track because their streets are built to the standards of the car. There are many world-class racing events every year, including Formula One.
When I went there, I just caught up with the game and it was very lucky. Because Monaco is too small, if you catch up with the game, no matter where you are in Monaco, you can hear the deafening roar, you will never miss it.
When Monaco hosts a racing competition, there are a lot of seats that are free to the public. For example, the location opposite my Monte Carlo Casino. This place where you can see the sea and see the iconic buildings of Monaco, and it is still a corner, it is free! God, it's unbelievable!
But the location here is very limited, so go to the queue as soon as possible.

Monaco, the second smallest micro-state in the world, has a land area of only 1.98 square kilometers. It can be reached directly from Nice by car 100. The journey takes about 40 minutes and runs every 15 minutes. The ticket is 1.5 Euro. The palace is not the palace of the king but the palace of the prince. The square is located right in front of the palace. The area is not large. There will be a handover ceremony of the Princes Guard every day at 11:55, and there are many people watching. It must be good in advance. position. About half an hour after the ceremony, the soldiers cheered and applauded. The motorcycle fire truck appeared in the ceremony, which was a bit like a small military parade. Since the ceremony is at noon, it is necessary to do a good job of sun protection, and you will sweat for a while. From the foot of the mountain to the palace, it is necessary to climb a step, just like walking into a castle. During the mountain climbing process, you can see the old port and the Monte Carlo area. You can see the Potivella in Italy. angle. The changing ceremony is free to visit, but there is a security check when entering the square.
viatravel.
Exquisite and compact Monaco because of the terrain, travel with the baby can not be visited in one day, simply we swim slowly, even the roadside bench will sit down, watch the fat catching the leaves to play, the sun is very comfortable on the body, Its really fascinating to have a romantic life together here, but I think that the worlds highest house price is still a second back to reality.
Along the way, ascending to the sea, the scenery is fascinating, but our uphill route is reversed and goes straight to the aquarium, but what is the correct route, even an unknown small park by the sea It is a place for treasure hunt, very photographed.
Monaco is very good, it is one of Europe's famous tourist destinations. It is very convenient to take a train from Nice in half an hour. Out of the train station to buy an ice cream standing at the beach to eat, I feel like I entered the summer.
