2025 Moab Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in December)

Taken from Dead horse point overlook which is the state park of Utah in untied states, Moab. There are several hiking trails here, the hike to dead horse point is a total of 16km if you take all the spurs but 8km if you take none. The overlook are gorgeous and breathtaking but do be very cautious as these overlooks are not fenced up. At times it might be slippery due to rain. There are several overlooks here that you can explore before you reach dead horse point outlook are: - Big Horn Overlook - Rim Overlook - Shafer Canyon Overlook - Meander Overlook There are also several arches in the state park, the popular one would be the Mesa Arch in the pictures attached and another would be the delicate arch which will be in another post. But if you are lazy, you can just drive all the way up to dead horse point overlook, park there and head to the little outlooks around the carparks. The drive though, can take from 30mins to a few hours depending on your interest and stop points. So make sure you plan your trip there. On this day, we were lucky enough to get some amazing cloud coverage as well as one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve seen.
