My beautiful bistrot Granoturco
I was going on vacations and posting a lot of nice places, and than came on to a point why I don’t publish my own restaurant ☺️ We are located in a small village 20 from Torino, Castagnole Piemonte. Me and my husband after working around the world for a long time, we decided to return back home and open our own bistrot. We have a Cucine Piemontese. We have all the Piemontese classic dishes yet with some modern twist. For the ones who will be traveling to Turin, hope you will be considering to visit us as well ☺️#staycation #italy #village #bistro #kitchenpiemontese #piemonte

I visited La Venaria Reale and it was wonderful 🇮🇹
#italytrip
I just had an incredible visit to La Venaria Reale, and it's a place that should be on everyone's list when in Italy! 🏛️✨ Located just outside of Turin, this grandiose former royal palace is often compared to Versailles, and it’s easy to see why. The entrance fee was €20, which included access to the palace, gardens, and current exhibitions. The sheer scale and opulence of the palace are breathtaking, with its magnificent frescoed ceilings, elegant halls, and the stunning Galleria Grande, a long, white gallery filled with natural light and intricate details. 🖼️👑
The gardens are equally impressive, stretching as far as the eye can see, and are perfect for a leisurely stroll. 🌷🌳 I spent hours wandering through the carefully manicured hedges, fountains, and blooming flowers. There are also some fantastic modern art installations scattered throughout, which add a contemporary twist to the historic setting. If you’re up for it, take a ride on the mini train (€4) that loops around the grounds—it’s a fun way to see more of the gardens without all the walking!
After exploring the palace, I stopped at the café in the courtyard for some coffee and gelato. ☕🍦 The views of the palace from the outside are as impressive as the inside, especially with the mountains as a backdrop. I highly recommend visiting La Venaria Reale for its combination of history, art, and natural beauty. It’s a true gem near Turin! #trip #LaVenariaReale #ItalianRoyalty #BaroqueSplendor #HistoricPalace #TurinTravel

Italian World Cultural Heritage Tour: The Palace of Venaria!
I finally arrived at the other side of the Anywhere Door: Turin, Italy
►World Cultural Heritage around Turin
The Palace of Venaria La Venaria Reale, one of the grand ducal residences of the last Italian royal family, the House of Savoy Savoia, in the Piedmont region! It is considered a model of Baroque architecture, and even the design of Versailles was inspired by it!
►Tour Route
1. The Palace Reggia
The palace was started in 1675, designed by the Italian architect Amedeo di Castellamonte, and funded by Duke Carlo Emanuele II of the Savoy family, mainly used as a royal hunting ground at that time. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1997.
European palaces, including noble estates, are mostly divided into House and Garden parts, and the larger ones have their own Forest. The House is the main part, fully functional, including a chapel, reception room, dining room, collection room, study, bedroom, etc.
The House here is the palace, in Italian Reggia
2. La Mandria Natural Park Parco Naturale La Mandria
The small woods outside, also the hunting grounds of the past
3. Garden
The small lake in the Garden, calm as a mirror
This place is particularly suitable for contemplation, or just daydreaming...
►Self-drive: The town of Venaria is a 40-minute drive from Turin

piazza castello Turin,Italy
With its 40.000 square meters Piazza Castello is the second biggest plaza of Turin. Designed by the architect Ascanio Vitozzi, it rises in the very center of the magical Piedmont capital.
Piazza Castello, just like during the Savoy kingdom, is still considered as the beating heart of Turin.
The square is surrounded by the characteristic colonnades under which the large number of shops have made it one of the coolest and more beautiful places for shopping in Turin.
4 big ways branch out from Piazza Castello: Via Po, Via Pietro Micca, Via Roma and Via Garibaldi, which is one of the largest pedestrian promenades in Europe.
Some among the most important Turin attractions give onto Piazza Castello. Palazzo Reale, in the center of the plaza, is one of the most beautiful and charming palaces to visit.
But also the Regio theatre, among the most important Italian opera houses , the Palazzo Madama (Madama Palace), which used to be the house of the subalpine senate, and the Royal Church of Saint Laurence, which hosted the Holy Shroud for a short period in the past.
Today you will find in it the copy of the Holy Shroud, to watch it when no ostension of the original one is
scheduled.#nyedestinations #newyearstravel #summervacation #travelinspiration #urbanexplorer
