But the streets are only part of the Charme, the real attraction, and what most people come here for, is the beach! What I love about such places is that they make my travel affordable, while keeping me in some of my favourite countries. The location of Menon is wonderful too, between Monaco and the Italian Border. When i was there the weather was just lovely during the week-long stay. I am told by a lot of people that Menon enjoys good weather throughout the year and winters too are never what is considered cold in some parts of Europe. Another thing I have come to appreciate particularly with small towns in France are the gardens. In Menon's case, it is also considered as a garden town. Some of my memorable experiences in Menon also revolve around food. It is one thing I don't mind spending on or as some would consider a splurge in certain cases. My research showed me that from Le Marché des Halles to the 3 michelin star Mirazur via Italian pizzerias, the place teems with restaurants each offering a unique and colourful culinary adventure. Another lovely experience was the visit to a jam factory. La maison herbin is an amusing place. The famous festival of Fet du citron happens here. A tour of les villages perches is also recommended. Beautiful city! You can easily reach by train from Nice. The old town is stunning. Great restaurants. The beach is great and perfect for kids with showers in the seashore. You can do just one day trip or spend some days in one of the nice hostels in the town. I personally visited Monaco in the morning and Menton in the afternoon. I fell in love with Menton! It is a small town on the border with Italy (about 20 minutes by taxi from the nearest Italian town). Menton seems to be underestimated by the travellers. As a result, there are less tourists compared to places like Nice. Hotels seem to be cheaper as well. Menton is full of amazing restaurants and cafes. It is such a cute small town with colourful buildings. I highly recommend it if you are traveling around French Riviera! Go to Tony restaurant for dinner! Lovely small town near Nice and Monaco. It’s known for its lemons and they even have an annual lemon festival! It’s ideal for a day trip, there is a very cute old town area and good restaurant selection. Unsurprisingly there’re many stores selling lemon products, which is perfect if you want to get some regional souvenir. Just 30 mins by train from Nice. Definitely worth a visit!

I originally thought Nice was already beautiful enough I didn't expect the surrounding towns to surprise me even more It only takes half an hour by train from Nice You can reach the towns of EZe, Monaco and Menton You can arrange a day trip Or you can stay for a day~ Of these places, I like Menton the most This small town is close to Italy But the scenery is not quite the same as Italy !Places worth visiting: * Escaliers The classic yellow sign stairs, you can see the lemon yellow Church! #timetotravel My friends and I visited the beach club on a weekday in June and was quite empty. We had the luxury of choosing the best seats in the club!! 😍 Out of all the beach clubs we went to, this one is the prettiest one!! Contrary to the reviews I have read online, the staff are very hospitable and accommodating. Perhaps because the beach club was quite empty and we had all their attention(?) The beach and water is nice and clean but the water is slightly chilly, the food and drinks options are extensive and yum. However, do note that the beach club is on the expensive end of the spectrum, everything (beds, towels, food and drinks) costs us around €70 per person, and we are a group of four people… #frenchriviera #france #menton #beachclub
