Getting There - If coming from Blantyre, you can use the Zomba road. From Lilongwe you can take Khwekhwerere or the Salima road! My route recommendation: DAY 1 07.30 - Lilongwe airport pick up , way to the lake 10.00 - Visit Chipoka village (Craft workshops. Introduction to the culture of the Yao people) 12.00 - Lake Malawi National Park (Cape Maclear, 3 hours). 15.00 - Excursion around the park (UNESCO) 18.00 - Missionary Church in Mangochi 20.00 - Sunbird Nkopola Hotel DAY2 08.00 - Beautiful Breakfast near the lake 11.00 - way to the airport Lilongwe 13.00 - Chongoni. Rock Art Area 16.00 - short city tour in Lilongwe 20.00 - flight home

Jakaza Hotel is along lake Malawi 🇲🇼 in Mangochi and the place is so so beautiful.l really loved the set up of the place as l was there.It’s not very big but it’s lovely, it will make you feel like your at home.The owners of the place are welcoming and kind. It’s quite an idea place to go with a group of friends since they offer group accommodations which is very nice and quiet affordable.
