Malta's transportation explained!
@natrlp←Check out other travel information✨
Personally, I found Malta to be very easy to travel around on my own because of the well-developed bus system🙆♀️
The security on the bus was also average!
Transportation costs were very cheap, about 3,000 yen for 7 days🥺🤍✨
The bus never arrived on time, and because of the network, it was better to wait at a different bus stop for the next bus... so be sure to download the Tallinja app!!
Save it and look back on it for someday📍

Malta🇲🇹If you want to enjoy nature, scenery and food, this is the place for you!!
Although it is only half the size of Tokyo's 23 wards, it is a perfect island nation where you can enjoy beautiful nature, beautiful scenery, and delicious food! !
It was so great to munch on fresh seafood while drinking delicious wine 🤤
You can also take a ferry to Gozo Island and Comino Island and enjoy the best of each island! The water in Comino Island is so clear that you can see the boat floating! There are shops near the beach, and you can enjoy drinks and meals while looking at the beautiful scenery here too!
You can also buy local souvenirs such as olive oil and honey in Gozo Island!
Just looking at the historic churches and beautiful townscape makes you feel happy 🫶🏻
No matter what scenery you cut out, Malta Island 🇲🇹 is photogenic, it was the best!

Malta Travel | Must-Visit Attractions | The Jellyfish Sea is Too Beautiful.
Have you ever heard of Malta's Tiffany Sea? The jellyfish sea there is simply so beautiful it makes you want to cry! It's also super photogenic, and you definitely won't regret going!
Let's talk about the hidden fairy-tale island, Comino Island, it's just like something out of a storybook! You have to take a boat from Cirkewwa terminal, where there's a little ticket booth. A round-trip ticket is only 15 euros per person, and that includes a trip to Gozo Island!
Once you get off the boat, you'll see the stunning Blue Lagoon, with its jellyfish-blue waters that are so beautiful you'll lose all your friends in awe!
Oh, and remember, there are no changing facilities on the island, so be sure to wear your swimsuit on the boat. And don't forget to bring sunscreen and a sun hat to protect your skin so you can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery!
In short, Malta is really a place worth visiting, and you guys should definitely go and have fun if you have the chance!

Minority Country Travel | Heart of the Mediterranean | Beautiful Scenery | Malta Guide
💎 Malta, this island nation located at the heart of the Mediterranean, possesses a unique charm and is an ideal destination for travelers. Below are some must-visit attractions and activities to recommend.
🏖️ Valletta Old Town: Stroll along the cobblestone streets of Valletta's old town and feel the weight of history. The architectural style of the old town is unique, blending Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance styles. Don't forget to visit the Valletta Cathedral, with its exquisite architecture and even more impressive interior decorations.
🌴 Blue Grotto: The Blue Grotto is one of Malta's famous attractions, a natural limestone arch. Standing in front of the Blue Grotto, you can admire the magnificent view of the Mediterranean and marvel at nature's craftsmanship.
🏰 Comino Island: Comino Island is one of the most beautiful small islands in the Maltese archipelago. The blue waters and white sandy beaches of the island create a beautiful picture. You can rent a bicycle to tour around the island and enjoy the sea breeze.
🍽️ Maltese Cuisine: In addition to the beautiful scenery, Maltese cuisine is not to be missed. You can taste a variety of delicious seafood and traditional Maltese dishes, such as fish pie and roasted lamb. Dining in Malta's restaurants not only satisfies the taste buds but also allows you to feel the warm hospitality of the locals.
💖 Travel Tips: Malta has a mild and pleasant climate, suitable for travel all year round. However, due to the strong sunlight on the island, it is recommended to bring sunscreen and a sun hat. Moreover, Malta's public transportation is well-developed; you can buy a one-day or multi-day pass, which is convenient for visiting various attractions.
🎉 Come to Malta and experience the unique charm of this Mediterranean jewel! 🎉

Trip to Malta 🇲🇹
I was recommended by my friend. She was telling me how beautiful Malta was and here we go! I spent 4days and 3 nights in Malta.
Aside from all the tourists spots, I would recommend you to visit Popeyes village. This is not somewhere that will be recommended to tourist, kinda like hidden spot. The village was built in 1980 for film and it became the major tourist attractions in Malta. Trust me! It is definitely worth to visit. The sea view and houses around were just amazing, especially during the evening. From Valletta, you can take 222 bus to Mellieha Bay, change to 237 bus to reach the village. There are many “taking picture” spots that you can explore around.

In Malta, I was exploring around their local food. I would definitely recommend you to try Caviar& Bull. The caviar tasted so good! Aside from Caviar, we ordered Beef Rib eyes and spaghetti as our main. The beef rib eyes was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the spaghetti sauce was a lil to sour for us. We also ordered baked pumpkin. It doesn’t taste like normal pumpkin that we usually had. But we find it very interesting. As a coconut lover, I ordered one of the cocktail from the drinks menu. It was kinda like pineapple 🍍 + coconut 🥥. It tastes so so good and it was served with a layer of shredded coconut on top. P/s: The bread that they served before meal was so delicious and we even ordered extra portion! Haha 😆 So check it out!

Did you know there's a Popeye Village?! 💪
📍European Malta Popeye Village
Isn't Popeye a snack I ate when I was young?⁉️
I didn't know that Popeye, who I only knew as a snack, had a village 😲😲
But unfortunately, it closed early,
so I couldn't go insideㅠㅠㅠㅠ
Isn't it too far awayㅠㅠ
It's a shame, but I can see the scenery inside quickly,,
It's pretty! A place I want to visit again if I have the chance next time ☑️

Popeye Village, Malta
In an interesting twist, one of the most beautiful villages around the world is a vamped up ’80s movie set. Abandoned not long after the filming of the 1980 musical Popeye which featured the late comedian Robin Williams, Popeye Village is now home to quaint, colorful clusters of wooden buildings, a company of actors and an array of fun activities to do. Watch shows, go on boat rides, explore the village, visit museums or go wine tasting while the kids romp at the playhouses.

The villag
The village of Popeye's located on the main island of #malta is one of the kind tourist attraction. It offers relatively small beach even without sand but the thematic buildings are so amazing. You can find everything from the animation here. Even newly-made it looks so authentic and definitely worth a visit. There is also a public bus that runs nearby.

Eating spi
Eating spinach in Malta can really grow stronger! In the reality of the Popeye Village
Malta which country really has too many places that people are still unfinished, you can see the blue window, the blue hole and the blue lake "the endless blue" can be in the town You can also go to the home of the Popeye.
I believe that many people are no strangers to Popeye. I think this may be a memory of every 8090 childhood. You can get a strong wave of spinach and you often have troubles to save. The protected Olivo girlfriend was impressed by everyone who saw the cartoon or movie. Even the wave was even considered by each girl to be the "best boyfriend". After all, not every boyfriend can appear the first time when you are in trouble.
Malta's Popeye Village was the filming venue for the film at the time. The village never went to the scene according to the animation one by one. Although the film didn't have much report, it was recognized by a lot of comic fans until Now, it has become a new landmark in Malta that must be punched in addition to San Lan.
After entering the village, you can see the movie posters of the Popeyes on both sides. The three "protagonists" stand there, taking photos with everyone who comes here enthusiastically, although the camera feels personally Not quite like, but always complete a childhood thoughts.
Here, you can personally do a "bad guy" to bully Olivo, but the wave is "beat", you can take the admission ticket to the "Sailor Bar" to get a free "Sailor meal" "This is really a "canned spinach" oh ~
all the houses in the village are colorful, you can try to find the "Pois" home, and then go to him to eat something, Or go to the opposite side and climb up to the top to overlook the entire Popeye Village!

Introducing the tourist spot in Malta, "Mount Carmel Cathedral"!
This building with a round dome-shaped ceiling is also a symbolic building that symbolizes Malta.
Unfortunately, the cathedral was not open when I visited, so I enjoyed admiring the exterior and strolling along the road to the cathedral!
Tips for visiting ☑️
The opening hours of the cathedral vary depending on the day of the week and the season, so if you want to go inside, I recommend doing your research!

I love Malta🇲🇹
Do you know Malta, a resort called the Britain of the Mediterranean, which can be reached in 40 minutes by plane or 2 hours and 30 minutes by boat from Sicily, Italy?! It's a small island, but it's not small at all and it's a full island🏝️
Malta, where you can't help but jump into the sea because the sea is so clear, transparent, and beautiful no matter where you look✨ It's a country where you can't help but love the sea.

Malta Island Trip
#0yentravelFebruary2025
We, an elderly couple, visited Malta for the first time after visiting Athens and Santorini in Greece.
It's easy to get from the airport to the city center by bus, so it's easy.
You can travel anywhere on Malta by bus. The island is not large, so you can easily stay for 4-5 days, including sightseeing on the outlying islands.
There are many repeat tourists from Europe, and the reason for this is the low cost of living and the low airfare.
Since it is surrounded by the sea, the seafood is fresh and inexpensive, so it is recommended. It's also a good idea to stay on Malta for a long time and travel to neighboring countries. In particular, you can choose your transportation to Italy, which is a neighboring country, and you can go there for an incredible amount of money. Malta

🇲🇹Republic of Malta Cat Collection 2024.8
These are the cats I met in Malta in the scorching heat of August.
There are cats here and there in Malta, but with the heat, I wonder if they hide somewhere cool during the day.
I get the impression that there are a lot of orange cats.
I also see local people creating homes for cats in parks and in front of stores.
They look like apartment buildings or tenement houses.
They are also rainbow🌈 or all chic green.
The residents are not overly doting, but seem to have a friendly relationship like neighbors.
Malta is my favorite country.
I would like to go there for the third time in spring or autumn.

A restaurant where you can eat Maltese specialty rabbit dishes🍽️
#0yentravelJanuary2025
⭐️It looked like it was full and I thought I might not be able to sit on the terrace, but when I asked the staff, they quickly prepared a separate table for me👏
⭐️I tried the rabbit dish, a Maltese specialty🐇! It was delicious meat with no particular smell😋
⭐️The table seats on the street have a nice atmosphere✨
⭐️It's a short break before going to the underground toilet, but the road is cute like a cave🤍

The Republic of Malta, a country where the entire city is a World Heritage Site!
The capital city of Valletta with its cute colorful window frames
The main street in Valletta is at the highest point in terms of topography, and if you look at the roads on both sides of it, you can see that it connects to the sea✨
Some roads are made up of stairs, and at night the stairs in front of the bars become seats, so you can enjoy your drinks while feeling the night breeze✨
In addition to the capital city of Valletta, there are restaurants lined up along the coast of Birgu, one of the Three Sisters on the opposite bank of Valletta, and you can enjoy a meal while looking at the yacht harbor✨
Since it is a local area of Malta, there are few people and it is a recommended area where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the city✨
The Blue Grotto, located in the south of Malta, has sparkling blue waters and you can see its beautiful view from a boat.
There are no direct flights from Japan, so you can get there by connecting from Dubai, Istanbul, etc.!

It was a wonderful island nation with the capital Valletta, the ancient city of Mdina, and islands where you can enjoy the blue sea.

Memories of the Republic of Malta.
A 2-night, 3-day tour of Malta Island.
Accommodation in the Sliema area.
Sliema is a hub for Malta tourism centered around the ferry terminal.
There are many hotels and restaurants, making it a popular area for tourists.
There are many bus services, and it's also convenient as there are ferries to the capital, Valletta.
Valletta is a city that feels very European, with many historical buildings remaining, and is called a World Heritage town.
Since shops start closing after 2 PM, it's recommended to head there in the morning.
Therefore, it might not be suitable for accommodation.
I also visited Popeye Village.
Since Malta doesn't have trains, we traveled by bus.
The colors of the sea and buildings are stunning.
The food portions are large and delicious, the sea is beautiful, and the buildings are beautiful.
It's a recommended travel destination.

Malta: 3 days itinerary
#100WaysOfTravel #summerdestinations #seascapes
My three day Malta itinerary consisted of visiting many of the island’s top attractions. It brought me to beautiful cities, ancient historical relics, and dazzling natural attractions.
Day 1:
VALLETTA is Malta’s largest and most visually striking city. Deemed “a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen” upon its founding, Valletta is full of 16th-century elegance and grace.
Malta’s romantic and picturesque capital city is characterized by brightly colored balconies, narrow alleyways and domed cupolas.
Spend whole day exploring the cathedrals, forts and twisting streets of Valletta.
In that time, I visited the Co-Cathedral of St John, strolled through the Upper Barakka Gardens, and soaked in views of the city’s pictureque skyline from its waterfront.
Day 2:
The Three Cities of Malta offer an intriguing insight in the island’s history. Left largely unvisited, these fortified cities offer a glimpse into Malta’s maritime fortunes.
Mdina: The Silent City
The mysterious gold-stone city of Mdina sits smack in the middle of the country and affords breathtaking views of the island’s arid terrain from its fortified walls. Deemed Malta’s Silent City, Mdina is characterized by shaded alleyways, arched doorways exquisite balconies and the beautiful St Paul’s Cathedral that towers over the city’s maze of golden buildings.
Day 3:
Southern Malta.
Marxaslokk Fishing Village is a quaint and colorful fishing village characterized by its picturesque harbor. In the Marxaslokk Harbor, traditional boats bob up and down, creating a colorful contrast to the city’s golden buildings. These cheery boats are known locally as luzzus and are painted in bright, primary colors. Each boat is decorated with eyes that are said to protect the fishermen at sea.
Every Sunday, the whole population of Malta seems to flock to Marxaslokk to attend the fish market–a weekly affair featuring everything from swordfish to sea bream to rockfish to clams.
Then try St Peter’s Pool–a nearby swimming hole that is a favorite among locals.
Had my day trip to southern Malta gone flawlessly, my visit to the megalithic temples would have been followed by a stop at the Blue Grotto. Yet, a combination of poor planning and a winter reduction in visiting hours meant that I arrived at the site’s ticket booth shortly after it had closed. It was only 3:30pm, but the last boat ride to the caves had already left a few minutes prior.

A Heritage wonderland
#beachlife
There's no doubt Malta is amongst the frontrunners on the summer holiday charts. With great weather and location, these sunny islands in the middle of the Mediterranean actually have something more to offer. On a recent holiday we discovered that Malta has an extraordinary amount of heritage structures. In fact officially it boasts the highest density of UNESCO structures worldwide.
While the Grand Harbor, fortifications, cathedral and other attractions of Valletta, Malta are enough to keep anyone enthralled. It is the island's beaches that are among the very best in the Mediterranean and allow it to also hold its own among the best beach destinations in Europe.
The remarkably clear water, perfect for snorkeling. Strong currents in some places are a downside, but there are lifeguards and warning signs. More typical of the main island of Malta itself are wonderful beaches such as Għajn Tuffieħa.
A deep cove, nearly surrounded by rolling natural hillsides, it has warm, clear water and just enough facilities to remain enjoyable but unspoiled. Renting a car on the island is highly recommended as this will help you get to some remote and stunning beaches. #beachlife #cherryblossom2024 #malta

Travelling alone in Malta
It took me about 23 hours to get to Malta, with a transfer in Dubai on Emirates Airlines. It was quite far away, but I'm glad I went because everything I saw was so beautiful.
There were buses from the airport so I could go anywhere by bus. I downloaded the app from Japan. It was very convenient.
A wonderful place where you can experience the beautiful European cityscape and a resort all at once.
I stayed at the Westin Dragonara Hotel. I could enjoy the food, the pool, the sea, and they even had a casino!
It was a wonderful place where I could enjoy myself to the fullest from morning to night.

[Malta] Perfect for strolling and photography! A hidden gem: Rabat
📍Rabat
Mdina and Rabat in Malta are towns where beautiful nature and historical buildings blend together, and the quiet atmosphere and scenery are attractive, allowing time to flow at a leisurely pace.🤍
There are far fewer tourists than in Valletta, making it a hidden gem. It's perfect for strolling and taking photos.📸
Mdina, with its quiet atmosphere and traditional feel, is also known as the "silent city."
There are fewer tourists than in Valletta, so it's recommended for those who want to take their time looking around and taking photos.◎
There are historical buildings such as St. Paul's Cathedral and St. George's Cathedral, so you can enjoy cultural exploration at your own pace.
There is a huge underground tomb 🪦
You can also enjoy Maltese and Mediterranean cuisine at local restaurants and cafes 🍴
