Maharat Buddha Park, Luang Pu Thuat
The place where the largest Luang Pu Thuat statue in the world is enshrined. The height including the base is 51 meters.

Atmosphere/Location - Walk in from the parking lot, you will walk through Luang Pu Thuat Market, a local market. There are both Thai desserts, vegetables, fruits, and silk, a famous product of Ayutthaya. Walk through the market and you will reach the Buddha Park. There is a Thai house by the river where umbrellas are provided. You can take them for free. Then walk across the bridge, which is a large pond. Not far away, there is a statue of Thao Wessuwan in front of the pavilion. Inside the pavilion is a point for tourists to come and pay respect and ask for blessings. There are flowers, incense, and gold sheets, 20 baht per set, both incense for Luang Pu Thuat and red incense for Thao Wessuwan. You can also feed the fish. There is fish food for sale at the point. Flowers, incense, and candles are provided.
During the day, the sun is quite hot. You can buy snacks and drinks and relax by the river. There are trees to help block the sun and you can also sit and listen to chill music from street musicians.
On weekdays, there are quite a lot of people, mostly student tour groups on a study trip. On Saturdays and Sundays, there are families.
