#Overseas travel I highly recommend this ocean view restaurant that I vowed to go to again if I ever go to Cebu. I made a reservation and thought about canceling the reservation for 5 minutes because the accommodation was so nice, but I want to blame myself for that moment.. Please go at sunset no matter what.. PH Kawasan Canyoneering company was amazing and prepared a full day tour! Cost us 6500 pesos each a full day trip including: Oslo whale shark swimming, Kawasan falls cayoneering & snorkeling in Moalboal to watch turtles and sardines run. Especially if you are going to travel to the south, you need a lot of stamina. If you are not going to just play around at the Mactan resort, I recommend that you brace yourself and go all the way to Moalboal! 🚩 Cebu Lanikai Restaurant This is a restaurant that sells local Filipino food. It is very clean and large, and there are seats for groups. It feels much more organized than a local restaurant, and it sells traditional Filipino food, steak, pasta, wine, and other foods. #Overseas travel There was a romantic, if not romantic, dream of staying at a guesthouse when traveling abroad, and this time I successfully fulfilled my romantic and bucket list by going to Cebu. ㅎㅎ Usually, Cebu has many night flights, so I often stay for 0.5 nights, but that day was perfect! I thought it would be good to stay at a guesthouse for a day, so I stayed at Pirate Guesthouse for a day. From a double room, to a dormitory type, and even a real kickpoint room with a bathroom, isn't it great? The next morning, I was able to request a Korean-style breakfast and eat there, and there's a store on the first floor, so it's very luxurious for a guesthouse. As a skin scuba diver, I felt a sense of emptiness in my heart even when I traveled to various points in different countries alone or with other divers. Now, I think I have found the answer to that emptiness. I came to Cebu on a free trip with my daughter, and we looked around here and there, ate delicious food, took her underwater for the first time, and experienced the mystery of the underwater world. As we traveled for 5 nights and 6 days, it felt like a family trip (my wife and son were at home in Korea^^)... It was an unforgettable trip where I found precious things and kept them in my heart. Cebu Mactan Lapu-Lapu Monument Statue Honestly, it's just so-so..

The statue is surrounded with iron fences to fend off visitors from climbing up or anyone who might want to vandalize the structure. On the elevated garden that supports the pedestal of the statue, you can find colorful tropical plants and flowers giving a soft touch to the image right at the center and above it. Lapu-Lapu was the ruler of Mactan Island in the Visayas, Philippines. He was known to be the first native chieftain in the archipelago to resist a foreign intrusion on this Visayan Islands and regarded as the first Filipino hero. #bucketlistreboot
