Habu Temple in Luxor 🇪🇬
The Habu Temple, located on the western bank of the Nile in Luxor, is one of the largest and best preserved funerary temples of ancient Egypt.
It was built by Pharaoh Ramesses III of the 20th Dynasty as a burial place for himself and as a sanctuary dedicated to the god Amun.
The temple was built in sandstone and has an 18 meter high façade.
Inside, the temple is composed of courtyards, hypostyle halls and sanctuaries.
The walls are decorated with reliefs representing scenes of battle and daily life.
The temple has been restored several times over the centuries, the last time in 20191.
It's a must-visit when you are in Luxor, a nice temple less crowded compared to the other attractions in the area.

Destination of the day - Luxor 🐪
#timetotravel
Exploring Luxor in Egypt was like embarking on a time-traveling adventure. The city's rich history unfolded before me in its ancient temples and sprawling archaeological sites. The Temples of Karnak and Luxor stood as awe-inspiring tributes to the gods, their colossal columns seeming to touch the heavens. Crossing the Nile on a felucca boat added a touch of serenity to the journey. The Valley of the Kings revealed the secrets of pharaohs, with its tombs painted in vibrant colors that defied the ages. The Luxor Museum provided a closer look at Egypt's past, its artifacts telling stories of an incredible civilization. Luxor was more than a destination; it was a voyage through time, a chance to immerse myself in the marvels of Egypt's ancient greatness.
Luxor - the Gods and Temples of Egypt
We arrived in Luxor after a few days of excursions on the historical sites in Egypt already, but we’re still amazed by the magnificent temples and spectacular valleys, and of course the profound history of the city that dates back to thousands of years ago.
We stayed at the Steigenberger Nile Palace during our stay, and were told it was one of the two best hotels in Luxor (the other being Sofitel winter palace), and the staff, the amenities and the view have made our stay even better than it already is, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for its price and it’s service to anyone who’s coming to this majestic city.
The highlights on my trip are definitely the hot air balloon, which we went with Sinbad tours (the best in town) and valley of the kings for its out of this world landscape; this visit is once in a lifetime and absolutely unforgettable. #luxor #Steigenberger #valleyofthekings #Karnak #bluesky

i have just had a wonderful trip to egypt
Luxor is divided on the banks of the Quinro River, and many attractions to Luxor are also distributed on the banks of the Nile, namely the East Coast and the West Bank, the Temple of the Monon, the Valley of the Kings, etc. on the west bank of the Nile, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple Etc. distributed on the east coast. The sights of the
West Bank are very remote and require a chartered bus, while the attractions on the East Coast are mostly close to the centre of Luxor, and walking is good.
West Coast chartered day trip, found a van through the hotel, 400 Egyptian pounds a day, the West Coast attractions are all over the net. The
Mennon statue should be a statue built in the 14th and 15th centuries BC, during the Egyptian New Dynasty. The Mennon was originally a hero in ancient Greek mythology and was once the king of Ethiopia. Here, he is the guardian of the Temple of Amenhotep III. Judging from the ancient history of Egypt, when Amenhotep III was in office, he once built a large-scale civil architecture, popularized by luxury and luxury, more than any former ruler. However, he also gained a great reputation as a protector of architecture and art.
The Valley of the Kings is the main mausoleum of the pharaohs and nobles during the 18th to 20th dynasties of the ancient Egyptian New Dynasty (circa 1539 BC to 1075 BC). Now 62 tombs have been developed, but visitors can only choose to visit three of them, and they are not allowed to take pictures inside. Of course, the relevant photos are not taken from the inside of the mausoleum or the gate of the Valley of the Kings.
About Luxor, it is the mysterious temple of the movie Mummy, the three or two rails raised in the Nile, and I watched the movie again last night. The 99-year film recreates the ancient civilizations of ancient Egypt. The thrills that I saw as a child became a great interest today.
Felucca is the most famous dhow on the Nile. Most of the boatmen are Nubians. For centuries, felucca has been the main means of transport for the Nile. Although x Hyundai already has motorboats and ferries, the city near the Nile is still actively using feluccas as a means of transportation. Its flow form is still like the Pharaohs, and it flows on the Nile River, allowing people to enjoy a quieter ride on the triangular sails than the motorboats. And calm emotions.
Especially at sunset, strolling on the banks of the Nile River, watching the white sails gently floating on the river, the water reflects a unique triangular shape, and the thoughts drifted into the Pharaonic era.
"I have never been to Egypt before I have been to Luxor." This is the most and most true word I have heard in Egypt for more than a month. Luxor, called the Thebes, is located on the banks of the Nile River 671 kilometers south of Cairo. It is the capital of the dynasty and the new dynasty of the ancient Egyptian empire. It has a history of more than 4,000 years.
It is said that the people of Thebes were densely populated, and there were hundreds of gates in the city. The Homers epic called it the Hundred Doors. Pharaohs have built countless temples, palaces and tombs here. After thousands of years, the grand temples of the past have become ruins of incompleteness, but people still can see their majestic appearances. It is a witness to the high development of ancient Egyptian civilization.
This temple, located under the mountains of Thebes, is just immersed in the shadow of the sun, which is the uniqueness of the architect. At the entrance, there is a row of sphinxes leading directly to the main hall. The colonnade architecture is a major feature of the temple, but the most important thing to miss is the magnificent murals inside: the left side of the first pillar of the temple depicts the ancient Egyptians using ships to transport the obelisk from Aswan. The process of the Karnak Temple; the relief of the left wall of the left side of the second column, depicting the process of the Queen Hatshepsut from the Red Sea to Ponte, the relief on the right depicts Hatsheps The scene when Queen Sut was born. When I came to Habu City, although it was already hot, I was still taken to the heart of this beautiful temple.
Talking about Egypt's super high cost performance, it must be said that the cruise on the Nile, especially from Luxor to Aswan, is even more beautiful. Although not as big as the Titanic, the cruise ships in Egypt are well-organized. Cruises between the cities of the Nile River, 30 to 40 knives, one person, all inclusive, can enjoy a good day on the cruise, stop at the sights to let visitors visit, 4 stars or more plus this price is very Conscience.
We chose to get to the Aswan cruise ship from Luxor, boarding the ship at noon and setting sail in the afternoon, and experienced the traditional vacations of the Arabs in the four days and three nights.
Every room on the cruise ship is clean and tidy. Our room is on the first floor. The curtains are the scenery of the Nile River. You can see the scenery while lying on the bed. You often see birds or planes across the sky. The whole room was well sealed. I could hardly hear the sound of the boat when I fell asleep at night. I still had some concerns about the quality of sleep on the boat. I didn't expect to sleep on the first day.
The first floor is the restaurant, all three buffets, a variety of fresh fruits, desserts and drinks, lunch and carefully cooked steaks, every day we walked out of the restaurant with a bulging belly. Lying on the roof of the boat, it is our most relaxing place to enjoy the natural scenery on both sides of the Nile.
