The view of the Nile River from the window seat was like a painting. The meal was prepared with fresh ingredients and was delicious, and the harmony of local cuisine and Western menus was especially great. Eating while feeling the cool breeze of the Nile River itself added to the leisure of the trip. Being able to enjoy a leisurely meal in the beautiful scenery left a precious memory in Luxor.

The Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the Hatshepsut Temple looked like miniatures, and the Nile River flowed gently, wrapping the surroundings in green. When the golden morning sunlight illuminated the ruins, it felt like we were catching a glimpse of the era of the ancient Pharaohs. During the day, we rode a Nile Felucca. It was a traditional sailboat that moved only by the wind without a motor, so it had more charm. The silence and gentle wind of the Nile River felt so peaceful on the boat. At sunset, the river water turned red, creating a picturesque landscape, and it was so beautiful that I wanted this moment to last forever. A day of viewing Luxor from both the sky and the river. It was a time when I fell in love with the charm of Egypt once again.

Crossing the Nile on a felucca boat added a touch of serenity to the journey. The Valley of the Kings revealed the secrets of pharaohs, with its tombs painted in vibrant colors that defied the ages. The Luxor Museum provided a closer look at Egypt's past, its artifacts telling stories of an incredible civilization. Luxor was more than a destination; it was a voyage through time, a chance to immerse myself in the marvels of Egypt's ancient greatness.

We arrived in Luxor after a few days of excursions on the historical sites in Egypt already, but we’re still amazed by the magnificent temples and spectacular valleys, and of course the profound history of the city that dates back to thousands of years ago. We stayed at the Steigenberger Nile Palace during our stay, and were told it was one of the two best hotels in Luxor (the other being Sofitel winter palace), and the staff, the amenities and the view have made our stay even better than it already is, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for its price and it’s service to anyone who’s coming to this majestic city.
