Buffalo Milk Ice Cream, Luang Prabang 🐃
🐃 Buffalo kaleam: LaosBuffalo Dairy This is a place I have to stop by after missing out 2 years ago. This time, I have to try it. 🍦🐃 At "Lao Buffalo Dairy", the only buffalo farm in Laos, founded by Ms. Suzie Martin, an Australian woman who is fascinated by the charm of Laos, which led to the creation of this buffalo farm. Lao Buffalo Dairy farm milks buffaloes and makes cheese, such as mozzarella, ricotta, and blue cheese, which are sold to hotels in Luang Prabang, as well as ice cream, flavored buffalo milk, and many other products.
.
You have to try it. The taste is clearly different from regular ice cream. It has a rich and creamy taste and smell that we are not familiar with. If you ask if you can eat it, the answer is yes. #yummy😋

The peaceful ancient city of Luang Prabang
The entire city is registered as a World Heritage Site. As it is a Buddhist city, the city is very peaceful.
○The rice was also very palatable and delicious.
The noodles are chewy because they are made with glutinous rice, and the seasoning was not spicy, which I liked.
○Night Market
The night market, one of the attractions of the city, has beautifully displayed products and is truly beautiful. Each product is very beautiful and has a handmade feel. I think it is a bargain compared to the airport and other shops, so I recommend buying souvenirs and shopping at the night market.
○Phu Si Hill
A hill in the center of the city, it is a wonderful spot where you can see the whole city after climbing for about 15 minutes.
The sunset was beautiful, so I recommend going there before that time to get a good spot.
○Kuang Si Falls
On the outskirts of Luang Prabang, there is a famous tourist spot called Kuang Si Falls, famous for its emerald green waterfalls. I recommend making a reservation for a bus or something to go there. I went in the rainy season, but other reviews say that the dry season is recommended. Please bring your swimsuit and clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting wet and enjoy playing in the water!
😊 The charm of Lao PDR
#Natural attractions here, Luang Prabang, Laos 🇱🇦
Today, we're sharing the morning atmosphere of the morning market with everyone.
After we woke up to offer sticky rice to monks in front of our accommodation,
an activity that you shouldn't miss in the morning here is to experience
the local atmosphere at the morning market, where they have local food,
trinkets, fresh food, and many other things that the villagers bring to sell.
I must say that it's fun, unusual, and very enjoyable.
For anyone who plans to visit Luang Prabang, this is another landmark
that tourists shouldn't miss.

Muang Ngoi, the charming city along the U River
#VisitLaos
If you mention the name "Muang Ngoi", this name may not be very familiar to many people. But if you mention Luang Prabang, you will probably say "Ah!" because Muang Ngoi is in Luang Prabang Province. It is a small town in the north of Laos that is still full of nature, mountains, fog, and the Ou River. The villagers of Muang Ngoi work as fishermen and weavers, etc.
Muang Ngoi is still very natural because cars cannot reach it and there are no roads. To get to Muang Ngoi, you have to take a car from Luang Prabang for about 4 hours to Nong Khiaw Town. Then from Nong Khiaw, you have to take a boat along the Ou River for about 1 hour. Because it is a small town and not easy to access, Muang Ngoi is a relatively peaceful town with beautiful traditions and culture. Notice that most of the tourists who come here are backpackers. Thais still visit Muang Ngoi very little. One reason is that the transportation is not very convenient.
Muang Ngoi has guesthouses, restaurants, dessert shops, and famous products such as hand-woven fabrics made by local wisdom that are colorful and popular with tourists.
Visiting Muang Ngoi is like recharging your batteries. There is nothing better than waking up early to have breakfast amidst the mist, mountains and water.

Walking around Sisavangvong Road @Luang Prabang
When talking about traveling to Luang Prabang, Laos, you must walk on this street, Si Savang Vong Road, which is an important street and popular with tourists. 🔅 Si Savang Vong Road is located in the heart of the old town. It is the main street of Luang Prabang, with many important tourist attractions to see, such as Wat Mai Suwannaphum Maram and other temples. The morning market next to Wat Mai is a street where alms are given in the morning. There is the Luang Prabang Museum. Opposite is the way up to That Phu Si, where you can go up to see the view of Luang Prabang and pay homage to the sacred pagoda of the city. In the evening, walk around the night market to find something to eat.
✨In addition to being a street with many important tourist attractions, this street also has many restaurants and cafes to choose from. It feels like a walking street. You can walk around and enjoy it for a day. You can spend the whole day on this street.

Zurich Bread Factory & Cafe
Zurich Bread Factory & Cafe is located at the center of Luang Prabang. This cafe provides bread, cake, drink and so on. There are two types of seat which are indoor (they provide you air conditioner) and out door (there is no air conditioner). Moreover, I recommend you to walk to this cafe because it is located next to the street, so it is hard to find the parking area. #Laos #luangprabang #cake #drink #bread

Luang Prabang‼️
Luang Prabang is a great place! It reminds me of old Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Ho Chi Minh City. You will be greeted by abundant nature and old cityscapes. Time flows very slowly in this city, and it will help you relax after work. If you are interested, please visit! #AmazingView #LuangPrabang

Visit Tad Kuang Si Waterfall during New Year
How to get there - There were 4 of us so we rented a songthaew to and from the city for 250,000 kip, the entrance fee + shuttle train is 15,000 kip.
Tourist attractions - It is a beautiful waterfall. During this season, the weather is very good, some days are cold. If you plan to come and play in the water, you should consider the weather. There is not too much or too little water. It is beautiful. We walked in the forest, looked at the green nature and the bear sanctuary, but on the day we went, the bears had all hidden on the other side, so we didn't take any pictures.
P.S.: There are quite a lot of mosquitoes. If you like being bitten by mosquitoes, I recommend wearing long pants. 🦟

Magical looking waterfall in the Land of Laos
Kuang Si Waterfall: If you only have time for one activity in Laos, then this is the place you MUST visit.
Located nearest to the city of Luang Prabang in Laos, it is about 45mins drive away from the centre of town. Depending on your budget, there are several ways transport options like shared/private tuktuk, van, motorbike etc. I will recommend to get some help from your hotel to arrange a tuktuk for you.
Like the usual attraction, get there early if you prefer less crowd!
Swimming are allowed at certain parts of the waterfall, so bring along your swimming gears if you are up for an adventure swim! And respect the “no swimming” zone.
And like the photos shown, the water are turquoise in color, and together with the whole foresty background setting, the whole place just looks really magical!
This will be a trip you will never forget!

Best thing to do in Luang Prabang!
Visiting the Kuang Si waterfalls is the best thing I’ve done in Luang Prabang, Laos. The turquoise waters cascading into the these tiered pools made of limestone makes it really Insta-worthy!
The best part is that you can also take a dip in the turquoise waters at certain allocated areas! But please take note of the signs that says no swimming in certain areas as some of the pools are considered sacred to the locals. There are toilets at the lower levels of the waterfall for you to change. You can also bring some snacks and drinks to picnic at one of the tables there after your swim. Remember to bring along some mosquito repellent though!
Opening Hours: Daily from 8am to 5.30pm
Entrance fee: 20,000 kip
Hike from bottom to top: Takes around 15-20 mins and it’s a easy hike.

If you go up while watching the pandas, there is a beautiful milky-colored waterfall💙
There is also a place to swim, so a swimsuit is a must!

Beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls in Laos
#kaungsi #waterfall near #luangprabang is a really scenic place to visit when in #laos
It is a a short drive away from Luang Prabang and makes an excellent day trip either via a package tour or book your own transport to get there.
The waterfall is three tiered and the path a well paved and makes it an easy and safe trek up for most people.
There is also a viewing deck to take photos and admire the waterfall up and it’s turquoise blue water up close.
It is really a must go if you are in Luang Prabang!

The in inviting waters of Tad Sae
Tad Sae, like many other waterfalls across the world, was built over millennia when flowing water carved its way through the surrounding limestone, leaving beautiful cascades and pools. The fall, which is located near Luang Prabang, is easily accessible, making it a popular destination for residents and tourists wishing to get away from the rush and bustle of daily life.
During the dry season, the fall dries to a trickle, but during the rainy season, the enticing water is cool and delightful. There are numerous lounging spaces and seats from which to relax and enjoy the fall foliage in perfect harmony.

Cave with thousand of Buddha
We took a lovely boat journey on the Mekong river to arrive to the Pak Ou caves, with beautiful views of the limestone mountains and riverbank life. The caves are set in a stunning mountain cliff at the point where the Mekong River meets the Nam Ou River and are home to over 4,000 Buddha symbols and statues.
For millennia, the caves have been a center of worship and religious pilgrimage, dating back to pre-Buddhist periods when the locals worshipped Phi, or natural spirits. People think the caverns are still inhabited by river spirits, and they continue to give offerings and pray to them.

I Loved st
I Loved stopping at this place to see the Laos forest, the falls and the sun bears. I would have loved to have gone for a swim in the pools, but the crowds were intense ( and this was in February 2020 before COVID changed everything). Go early and take your time at the sun bear sanctuary...fantastic. great outing , as always loved the lush green and foliage growing on the way to the waterfalls . Great day with a bit of cloudness and cool weather . Then hot again but as we got there the kids jumped in . Water still cold .
We love it the small quietness during this time not a lot of people .
Good for family and kids
