Departing from Beijing, enjoy a weekend trip to Wenzhou
Chasing the poetry and distance of the south of the Yangtze River, this time, I had an unexpected encounter with Wenzhou. I will take everyone into this low-key yet charming city.
Schedule: Depart on Friday night and return to Beijing on Sunday night.
Transportation Guide:
✈️ Depart from Beijing on a 21:00 flight on Friday evening, arriving in Wenzhou; on Sunday evening, take the 19:30 return flight back to Beijing.
🚄 Alternatively, take the high-speed train to Pingyang Station, then take a 15-minute taxi ride to Aojiang Wharf.
Accommodation Recommendations:
Friday: Longxin Business Hotel next to Aojiang Wharf, convenient for taking the boat the next day, priced at 160 yuan/night (for two people).
Saturday: Pingyang Muhairenjia near Sanpanwei, with an excellent view of the sunrise, priced at 380 yuan/night (for two people).
Travel Route:
Two days and one night: Aojiang Wharf → Nanji Island → Houlong Cave Hotel → Verbena Flower Sea → Dashaoao Beach (sunset) → Sanpanwei (sunrise) → Baizhangji → Mochi Park → Return trip.
If time permits, add a third day to the itinerary: Yandang Mountain → Nanxi River or Pengxi Village → Jiangxin Islet.
Must-visit spots:
Sanpanwei: The meadow intertwines with the sea, and the sunrise scenery is intoxicating.
Dashaoao: Shell beach, even more romantic at sunset.
Houlong Cave Hotel: Zhejiang's 'Santorini', with a strong exotic atmosphere.
Baizhangji: The number one waterfall in China, feel the majestic water momentum.
Mochi Park: Lush and green, a model of Chinese garden art.
Yandang Mountain: The famous mountain by the sea visited three times by Xu Xiake.
Pengxi Village: Wild waterfalls, as if entering a world of immortals and martial arts.
Nanxi River: A real-life version of 'Only This Green', the emerald green pool water is as poetic as it is picturesque.
Warm Tips:
To go to Nanji Island, you need to take a boat, about a 2-hour voyage, it is recommended to buy tickets online in advance.
You don't need to stay at the internet-famous cave hotel to take photos.
The island has convenient public transportation, and you can also choose to charter a car or take a taxi.
It's better to travel on sunny days, and the photos will turn out better.
It's more labor-saving to enter Baizhangji from the north gate, and there is a lot of water mist at the waterfall when exiting from the south gate, please take precautions against moisture.
Let's step into Wenzhou together this weekend and experience a different style of the south of the Yangtze River!🌿
