I decided to take a day trip to Limerick on a whim, and I was surprised by how comfortable this small town is! 😌 It's not crowded at all, making it a great place to relax. The University of Limerick is nearby, and it's absolutely beautiful! I'll definitely visit the campus next time. 🌿 First Stop: King John's Castle🏰 Although it's a bit commercialized, the panoramic view from the top is definitely worth it! On a clear day, you can see a panoramic view of Limerick. History buffs can take their time exploring the castle. Tip: Remember to buy a round-trip student bus ticket for €15. A one-way ticket costs €10, so I lost €5. I'm heartbroken... 😭 Second Stop: Big Shopping Center🛍️ It's right at the bus stop, and I'm mentioning it because there's a public restroom there! You can take a break from shopping and relax. Lunch: The Lock Bar🍔 I had lunch here. It's a bit pricey, with an apple cider costing €6.3, but it was really delicious! The milkshake at The Lock Burger next door is also great, and I've heard the burgers are delicious too. I'll definitely try them next time! 😋

Limerick is perfect for those who want to wander aimlessly and spend a day, especially river lovers 🏞️. You won't see such a wide, flowing river in downtown Dublin. The buildings on both sides are relatively low, and you can see distant mountains at one end of the river, with a very open view. When the weather is nice, take a walk by the river, with pigeons circling overhead and waterfowl 🦤 diving for food, and you'll feel great. 🏰 There is a large castle by the river, very complete and full of stories. #2024wish I traveled to several countries in 2023 but my short visit to Limerick will forever remain implanted in my memory. I have never seen a city so green and beautiful. If you love nature, you gotta love Limerick. Every leaf, every branch, every tree oozed beauty. I loved walking along the river banks, smelling the clean air and chasing beautiful butterflies. I wish to return to that city that evokes do much emotion in me.
