Pythons are not venomous, but their sheer size and strength make them intimidating. I watched it move slowly, its smooth scales glistening under the sunlight. There were staff members handling the snake with care, and they even offered visitors the chance to hold it! Though I was a bit nervous, I gave it a try. The snake felt surprisingly cool to the touch, and I was proud to have conquered my fear. Aside from the python, Deerland Park had a variety of other animals too. There were also exotic birds, such as colorful parrots, and small mammals like raccoons. Each part of the park had something interesting to see, and I spent hours walking around, admiring the animals and learning more about them from the friendly staff.

This school holidays, we took the kids and cousins to elephant sanctuary in Kuala Gandah. Bonding time went well as they really enjoyed their time here and get to feed the baby's elephants. Feeding foods like sugarcanes is RM3 and bananas is RM5. #myhiddengems Excellent gems place to unwind and do nothing. Nice sunset and sunrise view. Home is well equipped with the essentials. Theres also a friendly resident cat and dog that's constantly asking to play with. Very interesting place..despite just 1.5hrs drive away from Kuala Lumpur, its very kampung. Nice place to spend a weekend. Its a very serene place eith two chalets, lots of trees, a pond and a herd of cattle grazing away in an open field.

It was pretty cool feeding them and getting up close to these gentle creatures. Plus, learning about their habitat and behavior was super interesting. Even though Deerland Park could use a bit more upkeep, the experience of being so close to those animals made up for it. Sometimes, the rustic vibe adds to the charm, right?
