Black Sand Beach is located in Ban Klang, Laem Ngop Subdistrict, Laem Ngop District, Trat Province. It is located in the Tamarind Forest, a national forest reserve. The black sand beach is mixed with mangrove trees and various animals, both large and small, including birds, fiddler crabs, and various shellfish, making this area rich in biodiversity.
The mangrove forest at Black Sand Beach is considered one of the most natural mangrove forests in the eastern region. There are many interesting places, such as the Hammerhead Clam Viewing Point, the Large Climbing Fish Viewing Point, which is shaped like a pagoda, the Black and Red Clawed Fiddler Crab Viewing Point, the Fiddler Crab Viewing Point, the Firefly Viewing Point at Night, the Mangrove Bird Watching Point and Local Birds, including Hawks, Egrets, and Flat-billed Broadbills.
