YOMA Cave Hotel.
🇬🇷Yoma is a group of cave suite hotels located on the island of Zakynthos. On a steep, narrow, west-facing plot, 10 private suites are arranged along the slope to ensure guests' privacy, views, and outdoor space for each suite. To integrate the building into the landscape, the entire complex is designed in four levels: the top level has a reception area at the entrance of the plot, and the other three levels are for the suite layout. 💡The design adopts a prismatic plan layout to make the length of the facade facing the landscape larger and reduce the width of the back wall of the rooms with wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. Although these prismatic structures are connected and continuous, they achieve better privacy by extending the prismatic walls from the interior to the exterior. 🏠Each suite has one to two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, an exclusive work area for business travelers, a private pool, and a terrace with a pergola. Natural light enters all areas of each villa through the patio. The material palette is based on earth tones, sandy colors, oak finishes, light fabrics, and textured marble. ↘️Status: Completed Location: Zakynthos, Greece Design Company: Urban Soul Project: Project Leader | Maria Tsaftari, Kostas Floros Chief Architect | Dimitra Parathyra, Aliki Varlamidi Design Team | Zacharias Kechagioglou, Stella Avgerinou, Panagiotis Skraparlis, Maria Petsani MEP Design | Arxiko Consulting Engineers Structural Design | Dimitris Tiris
