Koh Samui | 3-Day Guide to Napasai and Conrad
#SamuiTravel 🇹🇭 Koh Samui | 3-Day Guide to Napasai and Conrad
A relaxing getaway during the Qixi Festival. Koh Samui is more for sunset viewing and relaxing at the hotel than diving. August is the off-season, so the weather was cool, and the overall experience was excellent.
✈️ Day 1
· Stayed at Napasai 🌟🌟🌟🌟
This small but beautiful hotel is 15 kilometers from the airport, under the shadow of LV. We booked a sea view villa and loved the view and shared infinity pool. It's great value for a five-star villa on Koh Samui.
· Dinner at Pensiri 🌟🌟🌟
This restaurant is popular, but the food was average. I recommend the following two options:
🗓️ Day 2
· Paragon Photoshoot 🌟🌟🌟🌟
This traveler has stayed at many hotels, and this one was the warmest. The staff were very patient, and they even let me refill my own gun cartridges. Overall, the food selection isn't very extensive, making it more suitable for beginners.
· Dinner at Sabienglae 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A big surprise! We had already reserved a table near the beach. The sunset before us changed from bright yellow to soft pink, then to fiery red, truly relaxing. The food was also delicious. I highly recommend the sashimi shrimp, the tom yum soup, and the crab curry!
· Fire Show at Ark Bar 🌟🌟
🗓️ Day 3
· Tamarind Springs Forest Spa 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨
Rated among the top ten spas in the world, I booked a four-hour Forest Dreaming session a week in advance on the official website. Since there was a shuttle service, I reserved it specifically for the day I changed hotels. The atmosphere was beautiful. The sounds of birds chirping, insects, and the flowing water in the forest were truly relaxing. The technique was gentle yet powerful, just as expected. Four hours without using your phone, strolling through herbal steam caves and cool rock pools, reconnecting with nature was truly a worthwhile experience.
· Staying at the Conrad 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Conrad truly lives up to its reputation as the most beautiful place in the world. To ensure we could catch the sunset, we booked two consecutive nights in a Sunset Pool Villa. This package included dinner, so we could return to our room and enjoy the sunset afterward.
The view from both the private pool and the public area is stunning, and the service is impeccable. You can always book a shuttle service by phone. The only downside is that the restaurant isn't very good (view from the restaurant: inside the villa > bay > blue).
🗓️ Day 4
· Hotel Activities
The hotel offers a wide variety of activities. Be sure to book in advance. I already had some things I was interested in, like nasal spraying and paddleboarding, but lounging on the loungers by the pool was so relaxing I didn't want to leave, haha.
Uncle Kai's Garden House 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I absolutely love this Michelin-starred outdoor restaurant! Reservations are required, and it's very close to the Conrad Hotel. The owner cooks everything he catches, combining quality, taste, and value for money! The shrimp, crab, and squid are all delicious. A must-try!
Conrad Hot Pot in the Villa
I was really looking forward to this trip, and I've heard the atmosphere is great, but it was canceled due to the wind that night. To be on the safe side, I recommend booking the first night of your stay. I promise it'll be a great experience. A little disappointed 😔
