The tension of life: The way for Hokkaido trout to return home
Turn onto the industrial road from Hokkaido Road No. 1115 and drive for about five minutes. There is a gravel parking lot. After getting off the car and walking about 100 meters, you can see the wonder that is unique to June to August - the Hokkaido cherry trout "Carp Leaping over the Dragon Gate".
During the peak period of Hokkaido cherry trout jumping, there are about a hundred times per minute. Seeing the non-stop jumping and the tension of life, everyone who sees it will encourage and support the Hokkaido cherry trout who keep working hard. However, only about 10% of Hokkaido trout can jump onto the Sakura Falls.

Lake Mashu
I went to the Uramashu Observatory to see Lake Mashu☺️🍑
The weather was unfortunate, but in the evening the setting sun made the leaves even more colorful, and the contrast was very beautiful😇🌞
There are benches at the observation deck, toilets and rest areas, and the facilities are very clean.
There is no toilet paper in the toilets, so I recommend bringing your own!

The lawn square in the park spreads out, and you want to have a picnic and relax. There is also a pond where many birds live, and you can enjoy it on a boat. There is also a rest house where you can have a barbeque. There are also plenty of sports facilities such as baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and skateboarding fields. There are many long slides and large playground equipment with a total length of 102 metres.

The blue pond in spring season
#springwander
"Kamiko Pond" with beautiful clear blue water. It is made from the underground water of Lake Mashu nearby, and it springs up to 12,000 tons a day. The water temperature is low throughout the year, and the fallen trees remain without rotting, creating a mysterious atmosphere. For shooting, it is recommended around noon when the sun shines from directly above.

[Hokkaido, Eastern Hokkaido] Head to Kaminoko Pond, where the water from Lake Mashu flows
Kaminoko Pond in Kiyosato, Hokkaido.
The pond was formed by the water of Lake Mashu flowing into it,
and is used for daily life.
First of all, the pond is crystal clear blue!
You can clearly see the trees at the bottom and the fish in the pond 👀
It's so clear that it makes you feel like your soul is purified... 👀
The water temperature is said to be kept at 9°C all year round... 💭
When you touch the river water, it's cold and chilly.
Because it's a pond in snowy Hokkaido, you can't drive close to it in winter.
You can see the pond by walking about 3km from the road on a snowy road.
It's best to drive close to it from spring to autumn.
In summer, there are a lot of horseflies flying around, so insect repellent is essential! ️
You should also be careful when getting in and out of your car to prevent them from getting in, and keep the windows closed until you reach a major road.
📍: Kaminoko Pond @ Kiyosato Town
🚗: About 1 hour from the center of Teshikaga
⚠️: In summer, you need to take precautions against insects!
In winter, you will be walking on snowy roads, so you need to take precautions against the cold

#Kaminokoike
Kaminokoike is a mysterious spring-fed pond in Kiyosato Town in eastern Hokkaido, characterized by its highly transparent blue water. It is believed that groundwater from Lake Mashu springs up, and the name "Kaminoko" comes from the fact that Lake Mashu is called the "Lake of the Gods."
Main Features:
1. Transparency and Beautiful Color
The transparency of the pond is very high, and the trees and fish submerged in the water are clearly visible. In addition, the water is a clear blue color, and the color changes depending on the angle of the sunlight and the weather, so you can enjoy a different look every time you visit.
2. Abundance of Spring Water
The water in the pond is kept at about 8°C throughout the year, and more than 12,000 tons of water springs up every day. This spring water maintains the transparency of the pond and creates its clear blue color.
3. Mysterious Atmosphere
The pond is surrounded by forests, creating a tranquil environment. There are rotting trees lying at the bottom of the pond, which, combined with the blue water, creates a mysterious atmosphere.
Access:
Kaminokoike Pond is located about 30 minutes by car from Kiyosato Town. There are unpaved roads along the way, so driving carefully is required. Also, access may be restricted in winter due to snow accumulation.
Best season:
From summer to autumn, the contrast with the surrounding greenery is beautiful, and in winter, you can enjoy the contrast between the snowy scenery and the blue pond. However, please be aware of snowy roads and access restrictions in winter.
Importance of environmental protection:
In order to protect the natural environment of Kaminokoike Pond, visitors are asked to take their trash home with them and minimize their impact on nature.
It is a spot where you can enjoy mystical beauty and pure nature, and it attracts visitors.

[Hokkaido] A gift from God: "Kami no Ko Pond"
This may be the first time you have seen such a clear blue pond.
The reason why this pond is called "Kami no Ko" (Child of God) is because it is a pond deep in the mountains where groundwater springs up, and it is said that it is made from underground water with very high transparency and good water quality, hence the name "Kami no Ko Pond".
In fact, when you look at this blue pond, it is so beautiful that you will fall into the illusion that a goddess will appear.
You can see fallen trees submerged in the pond, and the fact that they do not rot is proof that the temperature of the pond is very stable both in summer and winter.

[Hokkaido] The mysterious lake born from Lake Mashu, "Kaminoko Pond"
This time, we will introduce the spectacular lake "Kaminoko Pond" in Hokkaido.
Kaminoko Pond is a lake where groundwater from Lake Mashu springs up.
In Ainu language, Lake Mashu is called "Kamuito, or Lake of the Gods," and Kaminoko Pond is called Kaminoko Pond because it is its child.
The water temperature is a low 8°C all year round, and fallen trees remain without rotting, making it a very beautiful lake.
Although it is not easy to access, there is a large parking lot and toilets, so it is definitely a tourist spot.
When we arrived, a beautiful lake with a postcard-like blue color was waiting for us!
It is also close to Lake Mashu, which is the source (?) of Kaminoko Pond, so it is recommended to visit both.
Lake Mashu is often so foggy that it is called "Misty Lake Mashu," so be careful if you are driving there!
Kaminoko: 〒099-4526, Kiyosato-cho, Shari-gun, Hokkaido (search for "Kaminoko Pond Parking Lot" on the map to find the location)
