All Moments About Kingston upon Thames
Old London Road scenery
Address - Old London Road, Kingston Upon Thames, Kingston Town Centre, KT2 6ND, London, United Kingdom
This road is instantly recognisable all around the world by its long row of domino-like falling red telephone boxes. Along this road, you can find a variety of shops, from restaurants to salons and antiques to tattoo parlours! There was quite a lot to see here.
Also, it is beside the river as well so you get to enjoy a breeze while you browse what’s for sale there. We decided to get some seafood for a bite and it was wonderfully tummy-filling.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cornerstone in Kingston-upon-Thames Reasonably priced decent food - a real gem of a find
I travelled to Kingston-upon-Thames recently. A lovely place I used to visit years ago....There are pedestrianised walkways & many high street names, plus 2 very large department stores: John Lewis & Fenwicks (formerly known as Bentalls)......After looking around, reminiscing of the times I used to live in London so was able to regularly visit #Kingston-upon-Thames. I started to look for a decent lunch venue.Every independent restaurant & cafe I checked out was really expensive- at least £12.00 for a main meal & that's before you've added the price of a drink.I didn't check any of the usual chains - they're all filled with overly-processed, extortionately priced prepacked junk!......Near the railway station, I then spotted a pub: Cornerstone Public House. I went in & was pleasantly surprised....There was a varied menu: the usual pub grub choices but all very reasonably priced, plus lots of deals available.....Being vegetarian I was pleased to see vegetarian options are included in a meal deal: a choice of different types of chips, a soft drink & a main all for £8.49..& just pay a little bit extra if your drink is alcoholic.
I had grilled halloumi & salad in a ciabatta roll with chips (these were properly thick cut chips really good - not skinny, tasteless fries!), & a drink. There were proper bottles of mayonnaise, vinegar, etc on the table instead of mini sachets that are often difficult to open.....My meal was really tasty, & it also came with a generous portion of rocket leaves. There was plenty of halloumi in the roll...It was very filling, very nice. .....I can recommend this place if you're on a budget & are looking for vegetarian options that actually include some healthy vegetables/salad....The place was busy - always a good sign.....
Trying to travel more x

The Bricklayer's Arms
Made a flying visit to Putney for a long-awaited return to the Bricklayers Arms – the best proper pub in the town by a long way. The building was constructed in 1826 and it’s an independent free house.
Like a lot of places, it’s had a bit of an upgrade over the years since I last visited. The décor has upgraded a bit but the tables are all in the same place that I remember them which is comforting.
The beer garden has been replaced by a flat, and a new and very pleasant ‘beer terrace’ has been created at the side of the pub.

The Old Capital City of Thailand
Ayutthaya (officially Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya) is a province in central Thailand, north of Bangkok. Its capital city, also called Ayutthaya, was the seat of the Kingdom of Siam and a prosperous trading port from the 14th century, until it was razed by the Burmese in 1767. The old city ruins, with Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues, now form the Historic City of Ayutthaya.

🇬🇧 British creative installation art! The "domino effect" of red telephone booths📞
When you come to the UK, the red telephone booths that can be seen everywhere are one of the most classic symbols of Britain! But this "fallen telephone booth" installation art discovered on the street today is really eye-catching! These telephone booths are lined up and fall in the same direction, like dominoes. It is full of creativity and makes people smile.
This unique art installation is called "Out of Order" and is located in Kingston upon Thames, England. It is one of the famous public art in the area. The tilt angle of each telephone booth has been carefully designed to create a dynamic visual effect. This ingenious design makes the iconic British telephone booth not just a decoration, but also a humorous work of art! ✨
If you love taking photos, this is definitely a great place for creative check-in! Come and take a photo with the most iconic red telephone booth in the UK! 📸

Kingston i
Kingston in London is a fusion of old and new streets, large shopping malls and small shops, and is close to the beautiful river. It also has the must-see domino telephone booths, street performers, and children's play facilities. This is a place that can satisfy different experiences.

London City Hall | Encounter with the ancient Roman Colosseum
Guildhall, located in the City of London, is partially open to the public and a great place to learn about London's history. The Guildhall Art Gallery showcases the city's history through its painting exhibitions, and admission is free!
The most impressive thing is the Roman ruins under the art museum: the underground exhibition hall has excavated remains of the ancient Roman amphitheater, although it is in ruins, it is also the most intuitive memory of London's history. The initial location of ancient Rome's city building, as well as one of the busiest places in London today, can be called the essence of history.
