Königssee (King's Lake): The lake is crystal clear and has magnificent mountain views. It is the deepest lake in Germany. Obersee (Upper Lake): Enjoy the beautiful view of waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, and the lake (not open in winter) St. Bartholoma (Onion Church): Famous for its unique red dome and Baroque style.

Before going on a business trip to Germany, I did some research and learned that there is a very beautiful place called King's Lake on the southern German-Austrian border, so I included it in my travel itinerary. On the way to King's Lake, I found that the scenery along the way gradually became more forest-like, until I entered the editorial office in Austria and returned to Germany. During this process, I gradually saw some beautiful rural scenes, including churches and herds of cattle wandering on the green grass. It was a completely quiet and peaceful European rural landscape. Later, when we arrived at Lake Königssee, we were immediately stunned by the beauty of the glacier in front of us. We enjoyed a trout dinner locally and took a boat ride to enjoy the lake scenery. When I sent photos back to Taiwan, my family members exclaimed that they must come here to experience such a beautiful Lake Königssee in the future.

Königssee is located at the southeastern end of Bavaria, Germany, within the Alps. It takes just over an hour to get there from Salzburg. After the upper lake area opens in May, the number of visitors increases. The scenery in the upper lake area is even more beautiful, so it comes highly recommended ❤️ The waterfall is optional as it's not breathtakingly impressive. The water of Königssee is a mix of various shades of green, crystal clear to the bottom. Don't miss it if you love beautiful views.
