2025 King's Cross St. Pancras Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in March)
All Moments About King's Cross St. Pancras
A day at the Google Office ...
You've heard about the perks, the free food, and the ultra-creative environment. But have you ever wondered what it's really like to work at Google?
Google Office doors in London are open to the public to visit therefore I took the opportunity to go for a tour guided by one of the employees.
Conversation got me thinking about what makes a Google office so Googly that everyone is drawn to them?
The Colors: Why are they colorful? Partly for the fun, creative vibe color brings to any space.
The encouragement to PLAY.
If you look into any of Google’s offices – you’ll always find some sort of play in action.
Most have video gaming, while others have swimming, gyms, and even volleyball.
An outstanding cafeteria.
When I first heard about Google and their work experience, I believe it was the free meals they provided their employees. While this might seem like an innocent perk, I believe the goal is to encourage employees to work longer.
Google huge new London HQ which is in construction next door.... got space for more than 4,000 employees, a rooftop garden with a running track, and has been dubbed a “landscraper” for being as long as a skyscraper is tall.
I cant wait to visit it when it will be open.

A must-visit for Harry Potter fans, London King's Cross Station🇬🇧
King's Cross Station is the most central station in London and a transportation hub that you will pass by at least once while using public transportation. However, King's Cross Station is more famous for Harry Potter's 'Platform 9 and ¾' than for these modifiers.
This is because this is where Harry Potter passes through the wall to get on the Hogwarts Express to go to Hogwarts from London, so you can feel the busy station atmosphere that you only see in movies.
For Harry Potter fans, there is a 9 and ¾ Platform photo zone and a souvenir shop where you can buy Harry Potter goods. You can see various products from magic wands to clothes, so if you are a Harry Potter fan, you should definitely stop by.
Also, don't miss the really cool exterior of the station!

An amazing and interesting St. Pancras Station exploration.
#europetrip#london#uk#historical
St. Pancras International is one of the most iconic
and well-regarded railway stations in London. The station is often praised for its stunning Victorian Gothic architecture, which has been beautifully restored. The unique high ceilings, intricate details, and overall grandeur make it a visually impressive place.
We were there to take the Eurostar to Paris, we
came quite early so have plenty of time to do some exploring for the surroundings while waiting to depature, There are 2 interesting spots that indeed impressed me much,
▶️ The Meeting Place Statue: This impressive and imposing sculpture which is a work by Paul Day in 2007, that represents a couple embracing under the emblematic station clock as a symbol of travel and farewell. It's truly an iconic piece of art and amazing display of artistry.
▶️ Statue of Sir John Betjeman: This sculpture is tribute to poet John Betjeman by Martin Jennings. Around the base of the statue are carved lines from Betjeman poems, "Here where the cliffs alone prevail. I stand exultant, neutral, free, And from the cushion of the gale. Behold a huge consoling sea. " The statue was unveiled in 2007 by Betjeman's daughter at the inauguration of the Eurostar service from St. Pancras Station.
Overall, the St. Pancras Station is absolutely a fine locale for history buffs and a splendid spot for capturing keepsake photos.

London |The brilliant choice to Paris with Eurostar
Every time I travel from London, I find the Eurostar incredibly convenient. From London St. Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord, it takes just over two hours, connecting city center to city center—fast, easy, and perfectly timed.
The Eurostar Business Premier experience is fantastic. Departing London in the morning, the lounge offers a variety of pastries, cereals, and coffee, and on board, you’re served a hot English breakfast.
On the return trip from Paris, the spacious lounge and dinner options—both hot and cold—are a real treat, and I noticed a fellow passenger enjoying a glass of white wine. The VIP service is truly impressive!
Now they launched the new menu with the chef of Ikoyi and other brilliant restaurants!
Looking forward to another Eurostar experience when I visit Paris again in December!

[Overseas train trip] London to Paris on the Eurostar🚃
Did you know that you can travel between London and Paris by train? The travel time is about 3 hours, like Tokyo and Osaka, so if you try hard, you can even make a day trip✨ This time, I boarded from the London side. London🇬🇧 Departing and arriving at St Pancras (Kings Cross) station📍Euston Rd., London N1C 4QP UK↓ Paris🇫🇷 Paris Gare du Nord station📍18 Rue de Dunkerque, 75010 Paris, France Uses Eurostar (high-speed train)🚃 There are first and second class cars, and each has different services. As you can see in the picture, the first class car comes with a meal. Original coloring books are also distributed to children☺️ The legroom was spacious and it was a very comfortable trip. Also, the fare tends to be higher the closer to the departure time, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. Please note that unlike the Japanese Shinkansen, the fare is not the same for the same car and the same route! #TrainTravel2024
