Wat Khuhasawan, Phatthalung Province
🙏It is an important temple in history that the king and royal family members always love to visit. The locals like to call it "Wat Khuhasawan" or "Wat Suang".
🪨Tham Khuhasawan was originally called "Tham Nam Ngern" or "Tham Phra" by the locals. The cave is 18 meters wide, 28 meters long, and has a conical shape. At the top, there is a stalagmite that looks like an elephant. The locals call it "Chang Phut" or Hin Lablae. The cave floor is paved with bricks and mortar. There is one small pagoda.
💐According to the legend of Nang Lueat Khao, when Grandfather Sam Mo and Grandmother Phet passed away, Kumar and Nang Lueat Khao ordered their ashes to be kept in Tham Khuhasawan. Inside the cave, there is a large reclining Buddha image and 37 stucco Buddha images made of clay arranged in rows on the north, south, and west sides.
