[Oman] A beautiful cove and a cute letter monument
📍 Khor Najd (Oman Fjords), Oman
We visited Khasab, a port town in Oman, as a port of call on a cruise trip⛴️
There wasn't much information and we were unsure where to go, but we found out that there was a monument with the words I❤️OMAN, which is a must-see for collectors of letter monuments, so we headed to the spot~🚗
There were many tour companies and taxis parked where we got off the cruise ship, so we negotiated and chartered a car from the port to take us there! Musandam is a mountainous Omani peninsula that stretches into the Strait of Hormuz, which separates the United Arab Emirates from the rest of Oman. Its uneven coastline has a fjord-like entrance, and its waters are home to dolphins and other marine life. This curving fjord is also known as the "Norway of the East," and you can enjoy the scenery from a traditional dhow boat. From the top of the peninsula, you can see the beautiful fjord, and there is a monument with the letters there. We drove up a steep hill in the car. I think this is a spot that very few Japanese people have visited. I would never have come here if it wasn't for a cruise. I love spectacular views, and the view was so beautiful that I was very satisfied! 🤍🫶🥰
