From the seaside to the top of the mountain pasture, the scenery changes with each step, and the scenery in the oil painting is probably like this. ▪️Wanaka Arriving in Wanaka is a sunny afternoon, lying on the lounge chair on the apartment terrace and drowsy. Sitting on the deck, the boat slowly sails, feeling the old romance. There is also a commemorative wooden steamship refrigerator sticker on the ship, which is very delicate. The farm also has a wool shearing performance, and the family strolls around the cute little sheep's peripheral shop, which is so good that it almost missed the return ship... In the farm surrounded by mountains and lakes, watching the golden sunset and the blue coast, it’s just beautiful to be in a daze~ ▪️Hobbiton™ Movie Set The North Island has rich geothermal landscapes and Maori culture. What impressed me most was Hobbiton. The "Lord of the Rings" and other series of movies were filmed here. There are scattered hobbit huts on the hillside, and there are smoking chimneys on the roof, as if entering the story in the movie. Seafood at Kaikoura Seafood BBQ was amazing. The highlight of the meal was the crayfish which were fresh, huge and meaty. Never have I ever seen a crayfish that was way bigger than a lobster. It tasted as good as it looked! The seafood platter was great too with a great variety of prawns, crayfish fritters, white bait fritters, fish and rice. It was a really satisfying meal. Crayfish was about NZD 225, good for 4 pax to share. Platter was NZD 98. The stall is just beside the road and faces the sea. Free seating. Located at the northern most district of the South Island, Kaikoura is a picturesque coastal town that is widely known for the abundant wildlife and sperm whale population and the beautiful coastal line. To have a chance in watching the whales, it is highly recommended join the guided tour where you will be brought to see the whales via a cruise. Other than whales, another common wildlife would be the seals as there is a seal colony right over here! These cute seals can be spotted almost everywhere! Another popular thing to do while in Kaikoura is to have an awesome seafood meal as they serve one of the best seafood in New Zealand. Encounter KaiKoura is a dolphin centre that offers people the chance to swim with wild dolphins. The centre is located on the sea front and the price is around 150 New Zealand dollars. The available options are dolphin swimming or watching. If you are swimming, they provide you will all of the necessary equipment before sailing and then you have 4 chances to swim with the wild dolphins whilst watching them afterwards. The team is very professional and are great at providing security details and information about the marine ecosystem. The trip last for about 4 hours in total and there is a gift shop & cafe at the centre too

The horizon might just be referring to Kaikoura in front of us! The blue visible to the naked eye doesn't need any filters at all, making you want to dive right in. This island is like a mountain peak placed in the water by God, providing natural companionship to the vast ocean. The people of New Zealand have always cherished this natural blessing and protected the surrounding creatures. We set off from Christchurch early in the morning and drove for two and a half hours. After parking the car, we hurried to the service center to buy whale-watching tickets. At 11 o'clock, there happened to be two vacancies, so we successfully boarded the yacht to go whale watching. The blue in front of us always has a certain magic, which is the feeling of love. Staying by the reef, you can also see seals and seagulls, lively and cute. Racing in the sea, a group of playful dolphins chased our boat! Everyone excitedly stood on the deck, watching the dolphins freely chase and play. We sat in the yacht for about three hours, but unfortunately, we didn't see any whales in the end. Originally, whale watching was $150 per person, but since we didn't see any whales, we got a refund of $120 per person when we returned to the station. Compared to domestic tourism, this is quite humane.
