Juneau is the capital of Alaska and a bigger city in the southern part of the state. We arrived at the cruise ship terminal and took a short walk to the downtown Transit Center bus station and hopped on a bus towards Mendenhall Glacier. The glaciers are always changing and shifting (now at a faster pace due to climate change). The park surrounding Mendenhall has a waterfall (Nugget Falls) and hiking trails as well. We took the same bus back downtown and walked around the city, grabbed some food to warm us up from the cold rain. #us #usatravel #alaska #glacier

I went around the end of March! It was still a bit snowy on the ground, and it was definitely cold enough where I shoulda packed a heavier coat; Nonetheless, it was a very beautiful place and I wanna go back again!

I was lucky enough to visit Alaska this year, and fly on top of the Mendenhall Glacier. We spent 2 hours on top of the glacier and did the trekking. The experience was awesome! After that, we had a nice lunch at the Creek Salmon Bake and did gold panning. It's really nice to see this part of the world.

There are fjords, rainforests, mountains, and the world's most accessible glaciers, Mendenhall. June's cloud is very interesting, the location is very low, but the speed is very fast. You will be floating in the clouds one second before you look at it. When I walked to the beach, I found a dense seabird. On the bridge, the water was all. It can be seen that the ecological environment here is still quite good. The streets that have been wet by the morning dew are clean and bright, and the streets are high and low, quite interesting.

This is not the legendary Alaska cruise, but the ferry used by the locals. The ferry company is the Alaska Marine Highway opened by the local government. You can buy tickets in advance online.
