I personally think this is one of the places in Jingzhou that should not be missed! During my trip to Jingzhou, Hubei, I stayed at the Shiyehuayuan Hotel in the Yangmatou Cultural Park in Shashi for two nights. The hotel is within walking distance to the Dasaixiang Food Street. I really like the style of this hotel, simple in black and white, with a large public space, good quality room details, and a super large bathroom. The side facing the Yangtze River are all river view rooms, the price is not expensive, a river view double room is only about 300 per night, good value for money. The Yangmatou Cultural Park in Shashi is located by the Yangtze River, where the old and the modern are integrated. There are many old buildings with red brick western-style houses, along the Yangtze River there are some restaurants and stylish small shops, retro and artistic. I like to take a walk along the river in the evening, feeling the slow life of this city with the wind blowing from the river surface and watching the ferries come and go. During my four-day and three-night trip in Jingzhou, I stayed in Jingzhou city for two nights. For the sake of Wenshui fish and Songzi chicken, I stayed in the Wenshui scenic area in Songzi for one night, and it felt pretty good. Jingzhou is really an underestimated treasure city, with the feeling of 'being kept in a boudoir and unknown to the public', it has a profound history, a variety of delicious food, and a good travel destination.

Food & Restaurants - There are several eating places inside the park. The prices are a little high and perhaps the quality of food isn’t that great. Best would be to take snacks with and your own food. Shopping - There are small shops where you can buy some toys. We passed by this city on the way to Shancheng. I chose this hotel because I was not used to driving at night, and I was very satisfied! The deluxe double room was reasonably priced and the room was spacious and bright, just how I like it. The whole room is simple and comfortable, and the hygiene is also very clean. Not the Qinhuai River, but Jingzhou... A detailed travel guide to Jingzhou. Due to limited holiday time, we could only choose somewhere near Wuhan. It takes 1h30 by high-speed rail from Wuhan to Jingzhou. After arrival, we took a taxi to Laojiaofang Restaurant on Zhang Juzheng Road. The fresh beef hotpot and charcoal-grilled tofu are highly recommended. For other dishes, order according to your preferences. We stayed at the Kaiyuan Yingcheng Resort Hotel in Jingzhou. Before booking, we compared it with Wanda Fuli and Borui hotels, and chose Kaiyuan mainly because it's a resort that opened in 2021, so it's newer and more comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, convenient for visiting Fantawild, the Ancient City, the Museum, and the train station - just CNY 10+ by taxi, and it's easy to get a ride. The hotel provides a shuttle service that's available on demand and will take you to your designated building. The resort environment is beautiful, very relaxing, and great for photos! Day 1: Since we went during summer vacation, after arriving and resting at the hotel for a while, we took the children to play in the hotel pool, which they really enjoyed. In the evening, we strolled around the resort taking photos (the large dock, sorghum fields, and foxtail grass fields make for excellent photo opportunities). At night, we took a taxi to Dasai Lane for street food. The street food at Dasai Lane offers great value for money. We recommend the stinky tofu, glutinous rice with beans, guokui (Chinese flatbread), cold shrimp, and red bean paste. Actually, you can't go wrong with any choice. After eating our way through Dasai Lane, we walked to the Yangmatou area near the Yangtze River. It's very pleasant to enjoy the river breeze at a small bar. Even in the 38-degree summer heat, Yangmatou is cool at night with a great atmosphere and vibrant nightlife. Near Yangmatou, there's a plant shop called "Happiness for You" - it looks like a Western-style house from the outside, and the interior features tastefully arranged plants. It's quite spacious and perfect for photos. Highly recommended. Day 2: Hotel buffet breakfast at 7am - strongly recommend the handmade rice noodles, my friend had two bowls. Then we took a taxi to Fantawild (I have a separate guide for Fantawild, check my homepage if interested). We stayed at Fantawild until around 5pm before returning to the hotel to rest (if you have enough energy, you can experience Fantawild's night activities). Then we went to the Jingzhou Ancient City, which isn't very big.

It was a trip to Jingzhou, China 🇨🇳 It is a city rich in history and culture, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We started our day at the Jingzhou Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. Walking along the wall, we enjoyed panoramic views 😍 of the city and took some incredible shots with the historic gates and stone pathways. The best time for photography is early morning when the soft sunlight ✨ highlights the textures of the ancient bricks. I would recommend visiting the East Gate (Chaozong Gate) for the most stunning angles 🙌 📍East Gate, Jingzhou District, Jingzhou, Hubei, China We explored the Guan Yu Temple, a must-visit for history lovers and photographers alike 🙌 The temple is dedicated to Guan Yu, the legendary general from the Three Kingdoms period, and features beautiful red pillars, golden statues, and intricate carvings. The city is full of history and rich in culture. It is a relaxing place to explore and very beautiful. Hotel was booked via Trip.com. Beautiful hotel between Tesla and Mercedes car show room. It’s a short 20minutes ride to Jingzhou Ancient City. We spent the day exploring Binyang Tower and the surroundings. The ticket we bought included a boat ride around the lake which was nice. It also had a shuttle mini bus to take us to Guandi Temple. We were told by locals that the big Guan Yu statue has been removed from the ancient city. However, we saw another statue in Guandi Temple. From here, we took a didi to the Museum before it closes entry at 4pm. Overall we enjoyed this ancient city for a short 2 days trip before heading to Wuhan.

I stepped into this dreamy pink sea of flowers, carrying my camera, in the soft glow of the morning sun. Today, I want to share with you not only a visual feast, but also my insights and feelings while capturing this beautiful spring scene. 🌸 I chose this particular cherry blossom tree as our shooting location because it not only boasts the purest spring colors, but also features petals dancing gently in the wind. As they delicately landed on her shoulders and hair, they added a touch of unspoken romance to the picture. I adjusted the aperture, blurring the background into a soft pink mist, leaving only her and the cherry blossoms in sharp focus, as if the whole world had stood still. 🕰️ During the shoot, time seemed to slow down. We patiently waited for the perfect light, each click of the shutter a tribute to this beautiful moment. I guided her movements, letting her Hanfu flow with the wind, dancing with the cherry blossoms. At that moment, I felt as if I had become a part of this painting, experiencing the unique rhythm and harmony of spring. 📸 Looking back on this shoot, I deeply realized that photography is not just about recording, but also about conveying emotions.
